Usagi is a carefree schoolgirl with an enormous capacity for love, and transforms into the heroine called Sailor Moon. At the beginning of the series she is portrayed as an immature crybaby who hates having to fight, but over the course of the series you come to know her sweet and selfless side. Usagi is a bit selfish and very much a crybaby, lazy, clumsy, and also an academic underachiever. She's also not very good at cooking. However, she cares deeply about her friends and family. Usagi is very trusting, and believes that everyone has a better nature. She doesn't believe in killing innocent humans, even when they have been transformed into vicious monsters, and always seeks ways to heal them instead. Michie Tomizawa

Makoto Kino

Utama

Female · Umur 14-16 · Gol. darah O

Makoto is the third member of the Sailor Team to be discovered by Sailor Moon, and serves as the "muscles" of the group. Minako Aino

Utama

Female · Umur 14-16 · Gol. darah B

Minako is the fourth member of the Sailor Team to be discovered by Sailor Moon, and serves as the leader of the Guardian Senshi who protect her. She uses love-related powers. In the manga and anime series she dreams of becoming a famous idol, whereas in the live-action series her character is refactored to already be a celebrity. Silly or serious, Minako consistently displays great confidence, enthusiasm, and leadership skill. She is the "owner" of Artemis, the white guardian cat who introduced her to her life as a Senshi. He lives in her home (as Luna lives in Usagi's) and is one of her closest friends.

Rica Fukami

Setsuna Meiou

Utama

Female · Umur 19-20 · Gol. darah A

Sailor Pluto is the soldier who guards the gates of time and acts as Chibiusa's guardian. After the events of the second story arc, she leaves the gates of time to temporarily live as a human being, joins the rest of the Outer Senshi, and becomes a university student studying physics. Even in her civilian form, Setsuna is the oldest of the Sailor Team, around her late teens or older. Her personality has been described as distant and somewhat lonely, however, she does consistently display warmth and affection toward Chibiusa. When she reincarnates, she becomes more friendly, but is still not very emotional, although there are moments in the manga where she expresses much more emotion than the anime. Sailor Pluto is much darker in her initial form in the manga, identified as the "Guardian of the Underworld" with very dark skin and a black sailor uniform. She is also stated to be the daughter of Chronos, the god of time. She is a ruthless soldier who follows rather exacting laws, executing any intruders who dare violate the underworld in search of the Gates of Time

Chiyoko Kawashima

Michiru Kaiou

Utama

Female · Umur 16 · Gol. darah O

Introduced in the third story arc, Michiru fights alongside her partner and lover Haruka in defending the Solar System from outside threats. In both versions of the story, she is elegant, sophisticated, capable of sharp anger, and sometimes cold. She is fully dedicated to her duty as a Senshi. Her Senshi alter-ego is Sailor Neptune, one of the "four soldiers of the outer solar system". As Sailor Neptune, her element of influence is the sea(not with water in general as Sailor Mercury's powers are); as with many of the other Senshi, this element is closely associated with her planet, which is named for the Roman sea god, Neptune. She is one of the Senshi who has natural psychic powers, alerting her when danger is near. She seems to be a character with a very deep understanding of things, sometimes even surpassing the other Outer Senshi due to her unnaturally high psychic endowments. Michiru's wavy aqua hair and turquoise eyes are intended to evoke images of her element.

Masako Katsuki

Haruka Tenou

Utama

Female · Umur 16 · Gol. darah B

Haruka is a stubborn, protective individual, but is also strong-willed, capable, charming, and occasionally even doting. She is formally introduced in the third story arc, although she appears in silhouette alongside Sailor Neptune in the final episode of Sailor Moon R. When transformed, she is known as Sailor Uranus, and is part of the group known in Fanon as the Outer Senshi. Haruka is a racecar driver, even though she is barely sixteen years old when she appears. However, the timing of her birthday to the Japanese school year means she is one grade ahead of the Inner Senshi.

Megumi Ogata

Hotaru Tomoe

Utama

Female · Umur 12 · Gol. darah AB

With people who do not know or understand her well, Hotaru is extremely shy and socially awkward, due to her powers and intelligence, but only at first. With her close friends and family, she is a sweet, gentle, young woman with great warmth and spirit. She tends to be independent, having been alone and taking care of herself for quite some time. Hotaru grew up very much alone, sick, and an outcast, shunned by her classmates who were frightened of her. It was not until she met Chibi-Usa that she, at last, had a true friend.

Yuuko Minaguchi

Seiya Kou

Utama

Female · Umur 16 · Gol. darah A

Membership: American Football Responsibilities: Lead Vocal, Keyboard Kou Seiya is the leader of the Sailor Starlights and the lead vocalist for the Three Lights. In general, Seiya acts arrogant and tends to be, at least on the surface, confident in their own abilities. Over the course of the series, Seiya develops strong feelings for Usagi, and his attempts to forge a bond with her provides the primary romantic tension of the season. From their first meeting on, Seiya calls Usagi odango, like Mamoru does. The two even go on a date at an amusement park, which prematurely ends when Sailor Iron Mouse attacks. The relationship between Sailor Star Fighter and Princess Kakyuu is slightly ambiguous. In the manga, the princess had a lover who was killed by Galaxia. In the anime, it is implied that Seiya's romantic feelings for Usagi may be a confusion with similar feelings for Kakyuu.

Shiho Niiyama

Taiki Kou

Utama

Gol. darah AB

Band Responsibilities: Guitar Kou Taiki is the most intelligent of the Starlights. His abilities rival that of Ami Mizuno, whose romantic notions he considers foolish. However, Ami's wish for him to see the good in dreaming begins to have effect: In combat with a phage, Star Maker is the first of the Starlights to willingly allow Sailor Moon to heal the monster rather than trying to kill it. Like Yaten, Taiki believes that Seiya should stay away from Usagi after learning she is Sailor Moon despite their wish shared by Princess Kakyuu and the Guardian Senshi for them all to work together. In the anime, he sometimes wears glasses. (Source: Wikipedia)

Narumi Tsunoda

Yaten Kou

Utama

Female · Umur 16 · Gol. darah B

Kou Yaten is a distant and cynical member of the Starlights. They don't socialize or do sports, they view humans as untrustworthy, and their remarks are often sharp-edged and blunt—further separating them from the world. In one episode, the other Starlights even chastise them for their behavior, fearing it might reduce their number of fans. However, Yaten gets along well with Luna, who inspires them to keep on fighting. In the anime, Yaten has the most spiritual awareness of the group and is able to sense when Starseeds are taken by Sailor Galaxia. When it comes to light that Usagi is Sailor Moon, Yaten wants Seiya to stay away from her, despite the wish shared by Princess Kakyuu and the Guardian Senshi for them all to work together, though Taiki, Sailor Uranus, and Sailor Neptune agree. Yaten's goal is to find Princess Kakyuu and leave Earth as soon as possible.

Chika Sakamoto

Chibiusa

Pendukung

Female · Umur 900 · Gol. darah O

Chibiusa's real name is actually Usagi, but she is nicknamed Chibiusa to distinguish her from Usagi. She is usually very upbeat, extroverted and outgoing. Though she started out socially awkward, she quickly became popular with her classmates in the 20th-century. Chibiusa's dream is to one day become a real lady, to have her own prince, and to be friends with everyone she knows. Meanwhile, she is a fairly ordinary little girl; she likes pink and red, pudding, pancakes, and rabbits. Her favorite school subject is drawing, while her least favorites are language classes.

Kae Araki

Chibi Chibi

Pendukung

Female

Chibi Chibi appears to be about two years old, and can't really talk yet, though she knows a few simple words and likes to repeat what other people say. In the manga, she mostly imitates the ends of others' sentences; in the anime, she mostly says "chibi". Her red hair is always up in two heart shaped odango with little ringlets sticking out the sides, echoing the hairstyle of protagonist Usagi Tsukino. In each series, Chibi Chibi immediately attaches herself to Usagi's family, whose memories are modified so that they believe her to be the youngest child—almost exactly what Chibiusa had done on her first appearance. Once again, only Usagi's memory is left intact, and because Chibi Chibi has the conversational skill of a toddler the Senshi are unable to question her. Chibi Chibi eventually transforms, under her own power, into a Sailor Senshi. In the manga she is simply named Sailor Chibi Chibi, while in the anime she is called Sailor Chibi Chibi Moon. In the manga, Chibi Chibi transforms by shouting the words "ChibiChibi Crystal Power! Make Up!". This transition is never shown on screen in the anime. The truth of Chibi Chibi's identity is very different in the manga from what it is in the anime, largely because the two series were being produced at roughly the same time. In the manga: In the anime:

Sailor Galaxia

Pendukung

Female

Sailor Galaxia is one of the strongest Sailor Senshi in the universe, and is known as Soldier of Destruction and the commander of Shadow Galactica. Under the influence of Chaos she has destroyed numerous planets in search of star seeds. Her followers were individuals from destroyed planets who swore loyalty to her. Numerous details of her character vary between the manga and anime. In the manga, Galaxia was already cold-hearted and followed Chaos willingly to pursue more power for her own sake. In the anime, she was kind-hearted but became possessed while fighting with Chaos which led to her evil actions against her wishes. Her exact powers, goals, and fate are also different between the anime and manga.

Mitsuko Horie

Luna

Pendukung

Female

Luna was a talking cat and advisor to Usagi Tsukino. It was she who first detected Usagi's power, but at the time did not realize that she was the Moon Princess. Luna and her partner Artemis were advisors to Queen Serenity in the Silver Millennium, and when the kingdom was ruined Serenity used the power of her Silver Crystal to send the two cats to Earth's future in order to awaken the Sailor Senshi. She and Artemis one day married and had a daughter named Diana who became the advisor to Chibiusa. Chibiusa's toy Luna P was also modelled on Luna. (Source: Wikimoon)

Keiko Han

Artemis

Pendukung

Male

Artemis is the companion to the leader of the Guardian Senshi—he trained Minako Aino as Sailor V, and remains by her side when she takes on her proper role as Sailor Venus. His memory of the Silver Millennium seems to be more intact than Luna's—in fact, before appearing in the Sailor Moon series he guides her through the Sailor V video game at the arcade. Later, he fills in the details of her true mission. Artemis is more easy going than Luna, and has a "big brother" relationship with Minako, although his attraction to her is sometimes implied. He also cares very deeply about Luna, often comforting her when she is distressed and stating his admiration of her. In addition, he is a good father to Diana as evidenced by her affection for him. Artemis does not seem to mind the fact that he is named after a female goddess, even when teased about it by Minako.

Yasuhiro Takato

Souichi Tomoe

Pendukung

Souichi Tomoe is generally referred to simply as "Professor Tomoe", and the English dub refers to him as "Doctor" Tomoe. He first appears in Episode 90 of the anime and Act 25 of the manga. In the manga Tomoe is outright malevolent. He joins the Death Busters of his own free will after a lab fire that killed his older wife, Keiko and seriously wounded his young daughter Hotaru Tomoe. He later turns himself into Germatoid to fight Sailor Moon but is killed after being hit by Sailor Moon's Rainbow Moon Heartache. He dies in the manga and does not come back. In the anime he is a more sympathetic character. He displays bizarre, but hilariously over dramatic mannerisms, which are often a source of unexpected humor. It is never specified whether these are mannerisms of Germatoid or repressed aspects of his personality, since little is known of him before or after the possession. His normal personality does show through at times, however, revealing him to be a kind and loving father. At the end of S, he is shown wheelchair-bound in a hospital with no memory of any of his Death Buster activities. He has taken it upon himself to re-raise the now infant Hotaru. Professor Tomoe makes one more appearance in the anime, namely in episode 167 (the first episode of the Sailor Stars season), when Sailor Pluto arrives to take baby Hotaru from him. In this episode, he is seen without his glasses, and no longer relies on a wheelchair, indicating that his condition is improving. He is never seen or heard of after that.

Akira Kamiya

Diana

Pendukung

Diana is the third of the feline characters to appear, though the circumstances of her introduction vary. In the manga, she first appears when the Senshi travel to the 30th century in Act 18. There, she is revealed as the child of Luna and Artemis, and when the Senshi return to the 20th century in Act 23, she goes with them. In the anime, she does not appear until Episode 133 of the SuperS series, when the grey kitten suddenly jumps out of the bushes, calls Artemis her Daddy, and nuzzles up against him. Artemis is confused and horrified, while an infuriated Luna accuses him of an affair and scratches him across the face before running off. Only later is it revealed that Diana has come from the future. Just as Luna and Artemis guide Usagi and Minako, Diana acts as a guardian to Chibiusa. She is very curious, eager to help, and deeply polite, always addressing Usagi and Mamoru with the Japanese honorific "-sama" and calling Chibiusa by her formal title, Small Lady. She is also able to help the Senshi on occasion, despite her youth, and often because of the knowledge she has gained in the future. In both versions of the series, Diana has red eyes. Kumiko Nishihara

Kakyuu Koujo

Pendukung

Female

Kakyuu is the princess of Kinmoku, a fictional planet outside of the solar system. She is said to smell like the flowers of the Fragrant Olives, which are a recurring motif in her character design. The name of her planet is a pun on the name of these fragrant blossoms, which are called kinmokusei in Japanese--the suffix sei, when added to Kinmoku, means "planet" or "star." When Kakyuu first introduces herself, she calls her specific kingdom Tankei, a homonym of another word which also means the Fragrant Olives shrub. Kinmoku is also the home of the Sailor Starlights, who are Kakyuu's protectors and spend much of the story searching for her. The details of their collective story vary between the manga and the anime. At some point before the story begins, Kinmoku is attacked and destroyed by Sailor Galaxia, leaving almost no survivors. Kakyuu herself travels to Earth and hides within an incense burner protected by a small child, ChibiChibi. Having lost contact with her, the Sailor Starlights follow behind, searching desperately. In the manga Kakyuu is injured in the battle with Galaxia, and cannot reveal herself until her wounds are healed. She travels to Earth because she senses the birth of the Silver Moon Crystal (which is an evolution of the original Silver Crystal) there. She turns out to be Sailor Kakyuu, and reveals to Sailor Moon that her own lover had died in the war against Galaxia. She eventually accompanies Sailor Moon to Zero Star Sagittarius to confront Galaxia, but is brutally killed by Sailor Chi. She dies in Sailor Moon's arms, saying that she want to be reborn, maybe in a world without war, but at the very least to be with everyone again. In the anime, no mention of battle-wounds is made, and her purpose in going to Earth is to find the "Light of Hope" and hide from Galaxia. During her time under Chibichibi's care, she is aware of the Sailor Starlights searching for her, but cannot reveal herself too soon. She finally emerges to save Sailor Moon and the others from a black hole and resumes leadership of the Starlights. Not long after Kakyuu is found, Galaxia appears in battle and personally takes Princess Kakyuu's star seed. (Unlike the manga, Kakyuu never transforms into a Senshi form, although she is shown to have a "true star seed.") Kakyuu sets up a forcefield that is able to block Galaxia's attacks for a short time, but it does not save her. Before dying, Kakyuu sees in a vision that ChibiChibi herself is the Light of Hope. After Sailor Moon defeats Chaos, Princess Kakyuu is revived. She and her Starlights return to their home to rebuild and start over.

Joou Nehellenia

Pendukung

Female

Queen Nehellenia is the leader of the Dead Moon Circus. She is named after the Teutonic goddess Nehalennia. She first appears in Episode 148 of the anime and appears in full in act 37 of the manga, though she appeared as a voice in a mirror starting in Act 35. In the manga, she is the dark mirror image of Queen Serenity; the self-styled Queen of the dark center of the moon who first made herself known during the Silver Millennium. Queen Nehellenia arrived at the celebration of Princess Serenity's birth. Swirling with dark energy, she confronted the Queen, who used her wand, the Moon Stick, to seal Nehellenia inside a dark mirror world forever. As retaliation, Nehellenia cast a curse that the Moon Kingdom would fall and the princess would never inherit her throne. Her dark magic ultimately brought about the end of the Silver Millennium, but she lived on. However, over one thousand years later, a solar eclipse allowed her to spread her curse to the earth by way of infectious nightmares aided by her minions, the Dead Moon Circus. Nehellenia still believed that she was the rightful owner and heir of the illusory Golden Crystal; and set out to steal it. In the anime, Nehellenia is the dark mirror of the moon who had the dream to stay young and beautiful forever. Her Kingdom was located on what she called a lonely and cold asteroid. She understood that she would never be able to attain her dream when she looked into an enchanted mirror she saw herself aged and ugly. In order to retain her beauty, she consumed the dreams of the people of her kingdom. Those subjects became Lemures, the main monsters of the day in the series, and formed the Dead Moon Circus.

Chaos

Pendukung

Chaos was the final villain Eternal Sailor Moon faced. It was said to be the source of all evil in the galaxy and influences others despite not having a physical form for itself. Even when defeated, it is not fully destroyed and is sure to eventually return. In the manga, Chaos is a being that was trapped in the Galaxy Cauldron and missed out on becoming a star. It sends out incarnations in the form of Sailor Moon's major enemies, and eventually uses Sailor Galaxia to steal Sailor Crystals so it can free itself and rule the galaxy. In the anime, Iron Mouse's personality is both childlike and intense; she usually chooses famous or impressive people as her victims, seems to enjoy her work, and is openly terrified of Galaxia. She can warp from place to place using a phone booth that she summons and she can also use it to block attacks. Sailor Iron Mouse is the antagonist for several episodes of the anime, but is killed by Galaxia as punishment for her failure to collect starseeds.
