Tetsushi Kanamori

Utama

Male · Umur 11 · Gol. darah O

Height: 135cm He is the leader of the "Three Prankster Kings." Though only a fifth-grader, he is the boss who keeps the students of Join Elementary in line. He deeply admires his older brother, Tatsuya Kanamori, a handsome middle-school boss. He is a handsome boy, though he has a foul mouth and can be arrogant. While not the brightest, he has a big heart, acts like a protective big brother, and possesses strong leadership qualities. He usually lacks focus but demonstrates his true ability when the chips are down. He loves firearms and weaponry, displaying surprising knowledge and understanding of them. He wields the power of Fudo Myoo (Acala), and his mantra is "Namaku Samanda Bazara Dan Kan." His weapon of choice is the ofuda (talisman). His spiritual vision allows him to see spirits only when he is in tune with their frequency; normally, he must form a hand seal for his "third eye" to see them. His specialized spiritual tools are spell-inscribed talismans—capable of summoning lightning, flames, or shikigami spirits—which he activates by chanting the corresponding mantra and hurling them at his target. He is still a work in progress and struggles with precision aiming; due to his issues with concentration, the shikigami he summons often fail to take on a stable form. He is frequently teased about this by Ryouji and Shiina. He comes from an ordinary family—with a banker father and a somewhat laid-back mother—but his paternal grandfather and aunt run a judo dojo called the "Ryuo-mon Dojo." Consequently, the brothers' formidable fighting prowess is a result of their lineage.

Height: 136cm He is one of the "Three Prankster Kings" and serves as the group's strategist. Unlike Tetsushi Kanamori and Ryouji Niijima—who are in Class 5-2—he belongs to Class 5-1. He is a handsome, cool-headed, and quiet intellectual who excels academically, though he is also an eccentric. Because he is expressionless, seemingly emotionless, and taciturn, those around him tease him for his "Three-No" attitude. Perhaps because his mother's family is among the wealthiest in the country, he loves art and antiques and possesses extensive knowledge of them. In fact, he looked absolutely delighted when the Master of Jigokudo entrusted him with a shinanban (a divination tool resembling a compass). He says his dream for the future is to become the leader of a new religious movement or to live a quiet life in the English countryside. He is thoughtful and highly perceptive; his critical judgment and vocabulary surpass those of the average adult. While he rarely shows emotion, he has a terrifying side—when truly angry, he becomes so formidable that even Tetsushi cannot handle him. Unlike Tetsushi and Ryouji, who call each other by nicknames, he is addressed only by his surname because he does not allow that level of casual familiarity. The original text also refers to him solely by his surname. He possesses the power of Manjushri Bodhisattva; his mantra is "On A-ra-ha-sha-no." His weapon is a sutra. He has exceptional spiritual vision; if the wavelengths align, his eyes can perceive not only spirits but also the past and the future. He is also knowledgeable about religion, paranormal sites, and occult rituals. He lives in an ultra-luxurious apartment complex, where his parents maintain separate lifestyles in units on different floors. Shiina himself lives with his mother, who is a designer. His father, a writer, is a severe misanthrope and a classic social misfit; Shiina only visits him when his mother is away for work. Incidentally, according to his mother, Shiina inherited his expressionless demeanor from his father.

Male · Umur 11 · Gol. darah A

Height: 132cm He is a childhood friend who literally lives opposite Tetsushi. He is a sweet-faced boy with a romantic side who loves animals and flowers; his dream for the future is to work in a pet shop. However, he is extremely timid, a crybaby, and easily frightened; he often faints or flees in tears when faced with something scary. That said, his speed allows him to excel at obstacle races, earning him the nickname "Idaten" (Fleet-footed One). He owns a small dog named "Maru," a versatile companion that sometimes lends its strength to act as Ryuo-chin's shikigami (spirit familiar). He possesses the power of Ksitigarbha (Jizo Bodhisattva) and has spiritual vision superior even to Tetsushi Kanamori’s. His mantra is "On-kaka-bi-sanmai-ei-sowaka," and he excels at creating barriers and protective seals. However, perhaps due to these powers, he has a spiritual constitution that makes him prone to possession by nearby wandering spirits; a downside is that he is affected more intensely than others when visiting haunted locations. His weapon is a crystal prayer bead necklace. His father is a master carpenter, and three young apprentices live in their home alongside the family.

Male

Height: 160cm The proprietor of "Gokuraku-do" (Paradise Hall)—an apothecary that has stood on the outskirts of town for ages but is nicknamed "Jigoku-do" (Hell Hall) due to its eerie atmosphere. He has wild white hair, a sharp aquiline nose, glittering eyes, and a mouth full of large fangs; he often chuckles with a distinctive "hee-hee-hee" sound. He monitors all events in the town through a crystal ball sitting on his desk. He is a mysterious, cold, and unsettling old man who possesses immense spiritual power, vast knowledge, and an array of supernatural artifacts. He bestows spiritual artifacts and the powers of gods and Buddhas upon the Trio of Mischief, guiding them as practitioners of the arcane arts. He appears to be well over a hundred years old. At first glance, he seems incredibly cold-hearted. He often frustrates the Trio by laughing off human karma, absurd causalities, and inescapable, tragic fates, dismissing them with the attitude of "just let things play out as they will." However, on rare occasions, he imparts lessons that go beyond mere sorcery—teaching them fundamental truths about the heart and what it truly means to be human.
