Ichigo Momomiya

Utama

Female · Umur 11-16 · Gol. darah O

Height: 152 cm (5'0") Ichigo was just a normal 12-year old junior high student who was on a date with Aoyama Masaya until her DNA is mysteriously merged with the DNA of an Iriomote Wildcat. Now she is the 'leader' of a group of girls, whose DNA were also merged with that of an endangered species, called Tokyo Mew Mew. The Mew Mews have to save the world from Chimera Animas, the aliens, and the alien leader, Deep Blue. Originally, Ichigo wants nothing to do with the "Mew Project", instead wishing to simply spend time with her crush, Masaya. Later, she grudgingly accepts her fate, realizing what she is (a Mew) and the importance of the task assigned to her. Ichigo is sweet, and ready for anything. Sometimes she will go crazy if she is mad or excited. She is head-over-heels in love with Masaya. Ichigo cares very much about her friends, and cannot bear to see someone hurt. However, she's also got a very bold nature and is very friendly. She's also very hard working, and very brave (the only thing that scares her is ghosts). She's a very good leader of Tokyo Mew Mew. Her hobbies are buying clothes, and spending time with Masaya Aoyama. Her favourite food is waffles with maple syrup, pizza, fish, dried bonito and strawberries. She dislikes carrots. She is hyper and a happy, cheery person. Her friends Moe and Miwa support her relationship with Masaya. She acts quite preppy in Mew Mew Power. She is injected with the DNA of an Iriomote Wildcat. Later she finds herself acting like, instead of a wildcat, an ordinary housecat and, remembering the dream sequence of a cat jumping into her body when she was injected, realizes something has happened to her. Transformation: Mew Mew Strawberry, Metamorphosis! Attack: Ribbon Strawberry Check! (eps 1-14); Ribbon Strawberry Surprise! (eps 15-52); Ribbon Aqua Drops! (eps 25 & 43 only)

Mint Aizawa

Utama

Female · Umur 12-16 · Gol. darah A

Height: 146 cm (4'9") She is the second Mew Mew to be introduced and her D.N.A is merged with the Blue Lorikeet. When Mint was a child, she would show her dancing to her older brother. But one day, her brother was taken to a prestigious school. They never spoke to one another much afterward. Besides that, Minto had a wonderful childhood. She used to see her parents often inside her home before they became focused on work. Mint was learning Ballet as a little girl and was becoming a very good dancer. She had many recitals and shows. She was a starter ballerina but soon became a Prima Ballerina. Mint was initially depicted as spoiled, snobbish, and self-centered because of her wealth (like most rich girls), but is later shown to really be an empathetic and loving person who cares deeply about her friends. She idolizes Zakuro Fujiwara, who frequently influences Mint's decisions as a Mew Mew. Zakuro is also one of the few people Minto is nice to the most. Mint is, despite her relatively small size, extremely headstrong and can be very powerful when cooperating with her teammates. She enjoys dancing, particularly in the style of ballet. Her favorite food is French food and scones. She slightly dislikes common food (i.e. fast food, canned food, etc.) but will eat it if given to her. (Source: Tokyo Mew Mew Wiki)

She is a shy, second-year junior high student who attends Okumura Junior High (Excalibur High School in the English anime adaptation) and works at Café Mew Mew. In the anime, Lettuce has a younger brother named Uri. Her parents, Yomogi and Eizaburou Midorikawa, always encouraged her to "Be herself, and someday, she will have real friends.". Before meeting Ichigo, she still had her 'friends' from school. "The Three Beckies" as they're known in the English dub. Lettuce a sweet but shy and timid girl. She is very polite and always speaks formally, even to her friends and family. After befriending Ichigo and Minto, she becomes more confident. Kumi Sakuma

Bu-Ling Huang

Utama

Female · Umur 11-14 · Gol. darah O

Height: 138 cm (4'6") She is the fourth Mew Mew to be introduced and her DNA is merged with a Golden Lion Tamarin. Bu-Ling likes doing acrobatics and is very playful. The other Mew Mews agree that her monkey DNA is a perfect match for her personality, as she is full of energy and loves having fun – to the point where Mint considers her very immature. She is also the most hyperactive member of the team, even more-so than Ichigo. But she can be serious at times.

Hisayo Mochizuki

Zakuro Fujiwara

Utama

Female · Umur 14-17 · Gol. darah O

Height: 172 cm (5'8") Zakuro Fujiwara is the last of the main Mew Mews introduced. Her DNA is merged with a Grey Wolf. Zakuro went to a prestigious school and was fully educated. Much of her past isn't mentioned in the manga but is shown more in the anime. It was mentioned in one episode, that she used to live in America, as she left 'home' two years before the series started. In Tokyo Mew Mew, it is shown that someone close to Zakuro died in the form of a flashback. She had to take care of herself when her parents were busy. This hints at the reason for her unsociable personality. Zakuro is presented as a self-confident, independent, and mature character throughout the Tokyo Mew Mew series; portrayed as the mature, older-sister-like figure of the group, offering advice and often appearing to save the younger girls just in the nick of time. She usually works alone, as she initially refused to join the other Mew Mews. Zakuro is also shown to be very smart, although she often masks her knowledge of things. She often takes to speaking with Ryou about conflicts within the group. Although Zakuro is a part of the Mew Mews, each member views her differently: Ichigo views her as the big sister of the group, that she stands out at parties, as well as being calm and cool in dire situations. Minto sees Zakuro as an idol that she adores, while Bu-Ling and Retasu find Zakuro to be a normal person who doesn't really stand out from the crowd.

Ryou Shirogane

Pendukung

Male

Ryou comes from a wealthy family and has been stated to have an IQ surpassing 180, making him a natural genius, especially when it comes to genetics. It has also been rumored that he graduated from an American University. Because of this, and events in his past, he has a removed, sarcastic, and rude nature towards most of the cast, apart for his childhood friend, Akasaka-san. Despite this, he seems to be a kind person underneath, something that Ichigo catches on to later in the series, probably most obvious when he is trying to encourage Lettuce who has little self-confidence. He seems to have a romantic interest in the main character, Ichigo, but, these feelings are not returned. Ryou is headstrong and serious, but has moments where he will behave immaturely, such as his arguing with and teasing Ichigo. (Source: Tokyo Mew Mew Project)

Kouichi Toochika

Keiichirou Akasaka

Pendukung

Male

Keiichiro is the manager and baker of Cafe Mew Mew and Ryouss partner in the Mew Project. Five years before the start of Tokyo Mew Mew, Keiichiro worked with Dr. Shirogane, Ryou's father, on the Mew Project in the United States. After Ryou's parents were killed in a lab explosion, Keiichiro went with Ryou to Japan to continue working on the Mew Project. Keiichiro cares a great deal for Ryou, and worries when he risks himself to help the Mew Mews. Knowing he couldn't stop Ryou, though, he only makes him promise to return because he'll be waiting with tea to welcome him home. He is shown to have a mischievous and flirtatious side, however, such as offering to kiss Ichigo to change her out of her cat form. Ichigo once wondered if Keiichiro might be the Blue Knight after she sees he has an injury in the same spot that the Blue Knight had been injured in earlier in the day. The injury, however, came from Pudding having an accident while practicing a trick. Although Keiichiro is not shown to have any romantic interests in the manga, in the fourteen episode of the anime adaptation, he is shown to have an ex-girlfriend named Rei Nishina, a researcher studying butterflies.

Hikaru Midorikawa

Quiche

Pendukung

Male

He is the first of the alien antagonists who come to Earth, wishing to "reclaim it." His people were originally from Earth, and were forced to flee their planet. He hates humans for turning Earth into a trash heap so he, Tart, and Pie use Chimera animals to destroy the human race. He is a carefree, playful, clever, optimistic, and a rather open-minded person, although this is somewhat hidden by his blood-lustful intentions for humans. He enjoys torturing Ichigo Momomiya, his main enemy, whom he likes seeing in pain. He harasses her regularly and gives her nicknames like "honey", "kitty-cat", and "sweetie-pie".

Daisuke Sakaguchi

Tart

Pendukung

Male

He is the one of the alien antagonists who come to Earth, wishing to "reclaim it." Tart is kind of a crybaby and hates to be called chibi/chibiko (Japanese for runt, or midget) in Tokyo Mew Mew. He argues a lot with Ichigo and usually resorts to name calling. Overall, he is a rude and childish alien who likes to have fun, and make people cry. He is more prone to laughing out of true amusement (as opposed to Pie's solemn expression and Quiche's 'evil smirk'), and throws occasional tantrums when things don't go the way he expected them to. His energetic, childishly curious personality is comparable to that of Bu-Ling Huang. (Source: Tokyo Mew Mew Fandom)

Kiyomi Asai

Pie

Pendukung

Male

Pie (パイ Pai?) comes to Earth with Tart to aid Kish in preparing the planet of the arrival of Deep Blue. Serious natured, he is calmly analytical during his initial attacks on the Mew Mews, scientifically escalating the "mortality rate" of each chimera anima he sends and, when they are defeated, noting that "stronger tactics will be needed. Pie, like the other aliens, has the ability to fly and to transport himself. He attacks using chimera anima creations and with physical attacks. In the anime, Pie also fights using a fan weapon that can produce several wind and thunder-based attacks. Unlike Kish and Tart, Pie does not outwardly express his emotions often, rarely smiling even when taunting the Mew Mews and after Deep Blue's awakening. Towards the end of the anime adaptation, Pie seems to gain an understanding of the Mew Mews, in part due to Lettuce trying to convince him that they don't need to fight.[episode needed] He also sacrifices himself to aid the Mew Mews, smiling at them before doing so. After Deep Blue is defeated, Pie and the others return to their world. Ryou gives Pie the rest of the mew aqua, and Pie promises to use it to make their world beautiful again. Pie can be seen in the second volume's special section "Berry's Rush Report 2" as Berry asks what happened to the aliens and their planet after the events in Tokyo Mew Mew. In the anime series, his voice actor is Nobutoshi Kanna. In the Mew Mew Power English adaptation his name is changed to Sardon and he is voiced by Pete Zarustica. (Source: Wikipedia)

Deep Blue

Pendukung

Deep Blue (ディープ・ブルー Dīpu Burū?) is the leader of the aliens and the primary reason they have returned to the Earth.[61] Deep Blue went to sleep within the Masaya personality, leaving Masaya with no memories of whom or what he really was, though he retained Deep Blue's disgust for the way humans were treating the environment. Deep Blue is one of the few characters in the Mew Mew Power dub version whose name remains unchanged, however he is also changed from being a savior for the aliens to being a destructive force that wanted to destroy the Earth, which causes the others to turn against him.[citation needed] In the Mew Mew Power English adaptation of the anime series, he is voiced by Scottie Ray.

Masha

Pendukung

Masha (マシャ Masha?) is a robot created by Ryou to detect chimera animas and mew aqua. Originally called by her model number of R2000, Ichigo renames her "Masha" after her crush Masaya. Masha likes the new name and likes being with Ichigo. After the aliens are defeated, Masha chooses to stay with Ichigo when Ichigo goes to London with Masaya. In addition to detecting the chimera animas, Masha eats the jelly-fish like parasites that come out of the victims after the Mew Mews defeat them. When the Mew Mews defeat a Chimera Anima, Masha eats the jellyfish-like parasites that come out of the infected animals, plants, and humans. She can also merge with mew aqua found by the Mew Mews to transform into the Mew Aqua Rod, allowing the Mew Mew to perform the Ribbon Aqua Drops healing attack. Masha does not have the capability for high level speech, primarily saying "pi" and "tweet." She is occasionally shown saying regular words, with the most advanced being seen in Tokyo Mew Mew a la Mode where she says "Masha is going with Ichigo!" Masha is the only character in the series to also appear in Mia Ikumi's short story, Tokyo Black Cat Girl, which would eventually become Tokyo Mew Mew. Though Masha has the same name and general appearance in both series, in Tokyo Black Cat Girl he is a very different character. Instead of being a robot, Masha is an intergalactic police officer who partners with Princess Azumi to defeat alien parasites called the Baku. He is male instead of female, has the ability to change disguise himself as a cell phone mascot, can speak in complete sentences, and is capable of fighting the Baku in small numbers. In the Tokyo Mew Mew anime adaptation, Masha is changed to a male character. He is capable of speaking in short sentences and he is shown trying to help the Mew Mews when they fight. In the original Japanese series, he is voiced by is Junko Noda. In the Mew Mew Power English adaptation, his name is changed to Mini-Mew and he is voiced by Tom Wayland. (Source: Wikipedia)

Blue Knight

Pendukung

The Blue Knight (蒼の騎士 Ao no Kishi) is an unknown male who is introduced at the end of the fourth volume of the manga. During a battle with Kish at an aquarium, Ichigo is in danger of losing when the Blue Knight appears and rescues her. The Blue Knight tells Ichigo that he "is hers" and that he was "born to protect her." During the rest of the series, Ichigo initially suspects Ryou of being the Blue Knight due to both having blue eyes, blond hair and their both saying that she is heavier than she looks the first time they carried her. She later suspects Keiichiro of being the Blue Knight after he turns up with an injury in the same spot as the Blue Knight on the same day. As the final battle of the series approaches, it is revealed that the Blue Knight is actually the alternate persona of Ichigo's boyfriend, Masaya, created out of his desire to protect her. In the original Tokyo Mew Mew manga, the Blue Knight initially appears only as needed to protect Ichigo—fighting with an unnamed sword and disappearing soon after. After his true identity is revealed, he goes with Mew Ichigo to fight together with the other Mew Mews once before Masaya is revealed to also be their enemy Deep Blue. In the anime series, the Blue Knight is given a larger role, fighting with all of the Mew Mews several times. In addition to fighting, he would often advise the Mew Mews of the chimera animas' weak points and encourage them when they feel like giving up. The anime also depicts Mew Ichigo using her "Ribbon Strawberry Surprise" attack to boost the Blue Knight's attack in order to defeat chimera animas,[episode needed] while the manga shows him defeating both chimera animas and Kish single-handedly. The Blue Knight disappears from Tokyo Mew Mew when Masaya transforms into Deep Blue, except for Ichigo remembering him in a flash back after Masaya's death. In Tokyo Mew Mew a la Mode, Masaya notes that he no longer possess the powers he had as the Blue Knight. Neither the manga nor the anime clearly states if Masaya's Blue Knight powers came from the sleeping Deep Blue within him, or if they were his own powers. In the anime adaptation, his voice actor is Megumi Ogata. In the Mew Mew Power English adaptation he is voiced by Sean Schemmel. Wikipedia.com

Moe Yanagida

Pendukung

Female

Moe is one of Ichigo's friends and also her classmate, however, she is unaware of the Mew Mews. One of her other friends, Miwa Honjo, is also unaware of the Mew Mews. They are seen together, most of the time, and they are in almost every episode of the anime. In episode 23 of the anime, Ryou Shirogane saved Moe from some thugs, so she developed a crush on him. Moe and Miwa, who has a crush on Keiichiro Akasaka, made gifts for their crushes, as suggested by Ichigo, to win their hearts. They put a lot of effort into making the gifts but the boys rejected them, resulting in Moe and Miwa being upset. Kish later stole Moe and Miwa's spirits and used them to create two Chimera Lovebirds. However, Ichigo defeated them, and, luckily for Moe and Miwa, Keiichiro and Ryou revealed that they actually liked their gifts. Still in love with the two boys, Moe and Miwa vowed to open a fan club for Ryou and Keiichiro.
