Minato Sahashi

Utama

Male · Umur 19

Height: 173 cm 19 year old student who's just found out he's failed his exam for the second time to get into college. He's currently lives in Tokyo with no close friends and he's down in the dumps, until he bumps into Musubi. Musubi changes his life when she decides that he is her ashikabi (patner) and becomes a winged sekirei. Not only that but he finds out that Musubi is a sekirei who must battle other sekireis within Tokyo. Now Minato must keep this a secret while he tries to handle a new life with Musubi. Not much is known about Minato's past, except that Matsu states that he originally is a native from Wakayama and was raised by a typical family. He had top scores from elementary to high school. We also get to know from Yukari, that Minato would always help her out in the past when she would get lost in dark places like a forest, even though he as child feared those places himself. He would often carry her out. Minato is highly intelligent, capable of devising ways on how to make better use of Sekirei abilities and is able to execute strategies in order to beat the opponent in Sekirei battles. Despite his capabilities, Minato is an insecure individual in the beginning who has a passive personality and often lacks the confidence to go against his own Sekirei when they decide on something.

Musubi

Utama

Height: 161cm Weight:48kg Three sizes: B 97 / W 58 / H 89 Personality: Musubi is very naive, positive and insightful, often says things she does not understand, and is probably the most 'childish' of Minato's Sekireis, even more so than Kusano. She is, however, very eager when it comes into confronting other Sekireis (to the point where her eyes gleam and sparkle at the prospect of fighting another) but never fails to be polite as she would usually asks for permission first before fighting them. Abilities and Powers: Musubi plays a crucial part in Minato's team and is always seen participating in Sekirei battles due to her desire to fight strong opponents. Musubi's abilities are hand-to-hand combat which utilizes her greatly enhanced strength. This is enforced by the heavy combat gloves she always wears. Her attacks and techniques are mostly punches and kicks which are supported by her ridiculous strength. Something else notable about Musubi is that she also has a good amount of stamina and endurance evidenced during her first fight with Benitsubasa. She took several hits during that fight and was still able to stand up to Benitsubasa's surprise who thought that she went down after one hit. Even the Disciplinary Squads Ashikabi acknowledges her strength and came to the conclusion that Benitsubasa would have a hard fight without the Norito against Musubi. (Source: Wikipedia, Sekirei Wikia) The heroine. Minato's first Sekirei. She met Minato when she fell out of the sky. She is a power-Strength-type Sekirei. After hearing Tsukiumi say that she is Minato's wife she decides that she is gonna be his wife too. She is very naive and often says things she does not understand. She also eats a lot (her name means rice ball). At times she has a ferocious bear appear behind her. The reason given is because she is Miya's disciple.

Saori Hayami

Tsukiumi

Utama

Height: 165cm Weight: 47kg Sekirei No: 09 Three sizes: B 94 / W 57 / H 88 She is Minato's fourth Sekirei and her power is water (derived from her name "umi" which means the sea). She contacted him over a dream saying that she would kill him, but when they finally met she was persuaded into becoming his Sekirei. ( ch.22-23) She says that she is Minato's legal wife. At the beginning, she wanted to be the strongest to demonstrate that Ashikabi were not necessary to win but later she confides to Miya that her only goal is to get stronger to protect and live together with her Ashikabi forever. Tsukiumi is a Sekirei with a tsundere personality and the most aggressive of Minato's party and has a very short temper; she rarely smiles. She was introduced as the first Sekirei that wanted to become the strongest without the help of an Ashikabi. She even stated that she was willing to kill her future Ashikabi if she would ever react to him/her, due to her hate towards Ashikabis[4]. She changed a lot after getting winged by Minato and easily gets jealous when Minato comes in contact with other women, due to her feelings for her Ashikabi. She proclaimed herself to be Minato's legal wife which caused a rivalry between her and Minato's remaining Sekirei, in general Musubi with who she often competes to gain the right to be called 'Minato's legal wife'. Aside from this, she's gets along well with Minato's other Sekirei. (Source: Wikipedia, Sekirei Wikia)

Marina Inoue

Kana Hanazawa

Matsu

Utama

A computer genius and hacker that lives in a secret room of Izumo Inn, and was once mistaken for a ghost by Kusano. She becomes Minato's third Sekirei. She also likes to shorten people's names and substitute tan for san. Matsu uses a vast network of satellites and spying devices to gather large amounts of information and has even succeeded in hacking the MBI mainframe computer. She refers to herself as the 'Wisdom' Sekirei. However, despite her high intellect, she is very perverse - she uses her resources to peep on people and often tries to 'experiment' with Minato and so most call her the 'Shameless' Sekirei. Matsu serves primarily as Minato's unofficial 'strategist', rarely venturing outside of the Inn and using her vast network of information to aid him. Matsu has the power to access and analyze any electronic device on a telepathic level, but does not have the power to control them. Her name means a "pine" literally. Miya's nickname for Matsu is "Hentai-Glasses". (Source:Wikipedia)

Aya Endou

Miya Asama

Pendukung

The landlady of the Izumo Inn who is also known as the "Hannya of the North". Due to her fearsome reputation, no Ashikabi or Sekirei have dared to attack Izumo Inn. (Source: Sekirei Wiki)

Sayaka Oohara

Kazehana

Pendukung

Height:170cm Weight: 53kg Sekirei No: 03 Three size: B 98 / W 60 / 92 She becomes Minato's fifth Sekirei and her power is wind (derived from her name "kaze" which means wind and "Hana" which means flower). She meets Minato at the "Izumo inn" and seems to know his father (was possibly in-love with him and wanted to be his Sekirei). Because of Minato's possible resemblance to his father, she begins to develop feelings towards him and eventually becomes his Sekirei. She later addresses herself as minato's "new wife". Personality Normally, Kazehana displays a very relaxed personality and often becomes giddy when discussing matters of love. She's also confident in her natural sex appeal and not afraid to speak her mind as she openly admitted in front of the others that she loved MBI Director Minaka Hiroto, however she was rejected after the confession as he loved someone else. She seems to show hatred towards Takami Sahashi as she could be the person that Minaka Hiroto loved. Due to this, Kazehana stated that she didn't had any interest in things such as the Sekirei Plan because she didn't expect to like and accept an Ashikabi other than Minaka. She questioned herself however if Minato would be able to convince her to become his Sekirei and decided to put him up to the test. Despite Minato's lack of 'manliness', his concern and love for his Sekirei caused Kazehana to develop feelings for him and she eventually became his Sekirei. Like Tsukiumi, Kazehana addresses herself as Minato's 'wife'. Currently she competes for Minato's affection by joining the shopping contests and wearing all kinds of outfits from Uzume's collection in order to make him "happy" (Source: Wikipedia, Sekirei Wikia)

Yukana

Uzume

Pendukung

A Sekirei originally living at Izumo Inn when Minato and Musubi first arrived. Uzume's Ashikabi is a young girl named Chiho, who is confined to a hospital due to an unknown illness. Uzume had a large collection of costumes at the Inn, which she used to wear to entertain Chiho. Higa Izumi, who is holding Chiho hostage, manipulates her into using her powers to eliminate other Sekirei. Near the end of the second stage, Uzume leaves Izumo Inn, realizing she can no longer be a friend with Minato's party. She develops a friendly rivalry with Kazehana, who Uzume refers to as 'Nee-san'. Uzume fights using a large veil which also serves to hide her face and identity. Norito: The veil of my contract, destroy the nightmare of my Ashikabi!

Hitomi Nabatame

Akitsu

Pendukung

Akitsu, is a 'disused' Sekirei; Homura refers to her as 'Scrap Number'. She can't be winged by an Ashikabi or use the Norito (she is useless from MBI point of view). Akitsu's power is very strong, allowing her to fight on par with Sekirei like Homura (they have encountered each other 3 times so far). Despite the fact that she can't be winged, she considers Hayato Mikogami her Ashikabi because he took her in and she fears being thrown away again. Like her power, Akitsu has a very cold and melancholic personality. She speaks very little in a neutral tone and appears to be forgetful because at one point it was noticed she wore no panties; it was first assumed she was ordered to do so by Hayato Mikogami, but then she revealed it was simply because she forgot to put them on. She also stated she was envious of Homura because for him it would still be possible to get winged and thus have an Ashikabi, something she can never achieve. She also appears to be polite and follow orders without hesitation. Akitsu also seems to posses some knowledge on subjects like the first generation Disciplinary Squad. (Sekirei Wiki)

Yuu Kobayashi

Yukari Sahashi

Pendukung

Female

Yukari is Minato's sister. She has an affinity for strong bishounen types that resemble her older brother.

Kana Asumi

Hiroto Minaka

Pendukung

Male

Hiroto Minaka is the eccentric chairman and founder of MBI, with his motto being: "Fight and Fight Until One is Left". He, along with Takami, discovered the Sekirei and because of this, he feels that this entitles him to be the "Game Master" of the Sekirei Plan. Takami states that he has always been thought of as a "super genius", but in reality, she thinks that he is insane and his actions throughout the story seem to support this. It is hinted by Seo that he might have had something to due with Takehito's death, or at the very least, did nothing to prevent it.

Toshihiko Seki

Shiina

Pendukung

Yukari's Sekirei who is searching for Kusano, whom he has a very close, sibling-like relationship with despite the fact that his power is the natural opposite of hers. His power, while not officially named, allows him to emit an energy wave that instantly disintegrate most forms of matter, including metal, wood, fabric, and even human flesh to a limited degree. He met Yukari after he was attacked and was saved by her with assistance from Homura. He shudders at the idea of almost being Mikogami's sekirei and thinks of Yukari as a bright shining light in his life. Like Kusano, Shiina dislikes violence and has expressed extreme remorse for hurting Sekirei he has defeated. Due to the overwhelming power of his ability, he is called the "Death Sekirei" and along with Yukari, are ironically considered to be the "most evil pair" in Tokyo upon reaching the Northern part of the city. Shiina and Yukari's reputation and power have become so feared that they have attracted the attention of Izumi Higa, who encountered them shortly after arriving at the North city attempting to find the last unwinged Sekirei as he (Shiina) and Yukari were hoping it would turn out to be Kusano (who, of course, already has an Ashikabi in Minato) but was later revealed to be Kagari/Homura. Higa later captured Yukari and uses her to force Shiina to work for him. His Norito is "The corpse of my covenant, rot the cross of my Ashikabi!" His name literally means "Death". Kana Ueda

Takami Sahashi

Pendukung

Female

Takami Sahashi is the mother of Minato and Yukari and the MBI's head researcher and person in charge of Sekirei Plan. She revealed that she lied about working at a pharmaceutical company to Minato after the escape plan when she took him in temporary custody. Whenever she's angry or making jokes, she makes a demonic facial visage, a trait that is shared with Yukari. She, along with Hiroto, discovered the Sekirei ship. She is also the adjuster of Homura (together with Takehito), Musubi, Shiina and Kusano, possibly out of shame as she frequently expresses doubt and disgust at Hiroto for what he is doing. She has a long scar over her left eye, which she received from Yomi while trying to protect Kusano.

Miki Itou

Karasuba

Pendukung

Sekirei: No 04 Height: 174 cm Weight: 59 kg Three sizes: B 85 / W 63 / H 91 Ashikabi: Natsuo Ichinomi Norito: Currently Unknown Karasuba, Sekirei #04, is the leader of the 'third generation' Disciplinary Squad. She is also known as the "Black Sekirei" and "MBI's dog". In the past Karasuba was a member of the 'first generation' Disciplinary Squad and teamed up with Yume in the 'second generation' Disciplinary Squad. She seems to know a lot about Musubi's past and knows about many parts of the Sekirei Plan from her job and from the fact that she has been around as long as Miya, Matsu, or Kazehana. Karasuba and Miya Asama do not associate well with each other (Miya not allowing her to set foot in Izumo Inn) and tend to come close to fighting at the mere appearance of the other. Her name (karasu+ba) means "raven feather" literally. Karasuba still wears the uniform all members of the first generation of the Disciplinary Squad were equipped with. A Tight black leather top, a miniskirt and stockings. Over the shoulders wearing a gray cape with the Sekirei Crest printed on it. She has long dark blonde hair and gray narrow eyes. It appears that Karasuba desired to fight and defeat Yume, and as a result, resents Yume for 'disappearing' before they could settle their rivalry. This unsettled matter appears to heavily influence Karasuba's actions throughout the story and her behavior towards Musubi who received Yumes Tama at some point in history. She maintains a 'friendly' relationship with Musubi (whom she calls 'Mu-chan'), and the two have made a promise to be the last two Sekirei standing. She gets easily excited if she meets a strong opponent to the point that she wants to cut down other Sekirei so she can lose some steam. Karasuba believes humans are a weak and insignificant race and looks down on them(though she surprisingly gets along very well with her Ashikabi). She seems very bloodthirsty as she attacks and terminates two Sekirei (Mitsuha and Ikki) because she is in the mood for it. Not much is known yet about Karasuba's strength except that her weapon of choice is a Japanese Long-Sword and that she is feared by many Sekirei. Matsu once stated that if Miya and Karsuba would engage in a fight, half of Tokyo would be destroyed in the process. Her only shown fighting scene seen so far was against Mitsuha who was no match for her and easily got terminated by Karasuba. Seeing this the fairly powerful Akitsu decided to run away. Unlike Miya, who has been shown to be able to split a battleship while at a distance, Karasuba has so far been shown to actually need to make contact with what she is attacking. Karasuba is the only steady member of the Disciplinary Squad throughout all generations. Like all Members of the first generation Disciplinary Squad she was adjusted by Takehito Asama. In her time with the first generation of the Disciplinary Squad she participated in the fight on Kamikura Island. She is seen there cutting down a retreating soldier, holding his bloody corpse with her right hand, wielding her sword in the left, refusing to let the invading troops retreat. Just asking if they really thought that they can just leave after invading the island.

Haihane

Pendukung

Haihane is a member of the Disciplinary Squad. She wears a tattered kimono over her bandaged body, has dishevelled grey hair and narrow eyes giving her a slightly Grim Reaper-like appearance.Even though she has dark or gothic appearance, it does not reflect her personality. She is more cheerful and calmer than Benitsubasa, who is a target of her teasing. Her power is her gauntlets, that have scythe-like claws for the fingers. Her Ashikabi is Natsuo Ichinomi.

Mitsuki Saiga

Yume

Pendukung

Yume was formerly the founder of the Disciplinary Squad. When Musubi critically attacked by Benitsubasa, Yume came out and quickly disposed of her only to leave Musubi after the battle was over. She proclaimed she was the Defender of Love.

Katsuyuki Konishi

Homura

Pendukung

Minato's sixth Sekirei. At first he was the self-proclaimed 'Sekirei guardian', he often interrupted Hikari and Hibiki's fights to side with the unwinged Sekirei. Homura is said to be a Sekirei prototype (his power and gender are unstable), however he continues to think and act as a male even after his body started becoming female. He lives at Izumo Inn as "Kagari", a popular host club entertainer and no one except Miya, Uzume, Matsu and Kazehana know his secret identity. He's later revealed to be Sekirei #6 and his ability is the basic element, "Fire". By the end of the second stage he was the last unwinged Sekirei. The MBI director sent a message to all Ashikabi that the last unwinged Sekirei was in the north area, and became hunted by them. Homura was been reacting to Minato, which caused 'him' great stress over his potential Ashikabi being male, although Homura almost kissed Minato once. Homura has left Izumo Inn to go after Minaka Takehito (game master and head of the MBI) in order to bring an end to the Sekirei game. After being cornered by other ashikabi who wanted to wing him, Homura decides to commit suicide by igniting his body with his own flames, but is saved in the last time by Minato and his Sekirei crew. Unable to accept Homura's will to sacrifice himself, Minato forcibly kisses him. Source: Wikipedia
