Karakter & Staf

Keroro

Utama

Male

Height: 55.5cm Keroro is the sergeant and leader of the Keroro Platoon. His self-introduction at this time is "The Gamma Planetary System, the 58th Planet, Space Invasion Army Special Tactics Platoon Leader, Sergeant Keroro." Keroro lurked in the Hinata household until he was discovered by Natsumi and Fuyuki, after which he was captured. With the Kero Ball, his weapon, taken from him and his army having abandoned him, Keroro easily surrendered. The freeloader (formerly a prisoner of war) becomes troublesome for the Hinata Family. Each time he is found guilty of something, Natsumi physically abuses him to no end. But now, through being the housekeeper of the Hinata household, Keroro has become familiar to living an adventurous life on Earth. His favorite dishes include fried potatoes, dango, carambolas, and caviar. He also likes making Gunpla and reading manga.

Kumiko Watanabe

Fuyuki Hinata

Utama

Male · Umur 12-14

Height: 152.5cm He is the eldest son of the Hinata family and the younger brother of Natsumi Hinata. Currently a first-year junior high school student (having advanced from the sixth grade of elementary school in the original work), he serves as a secondary protagonist and the primary human protagonist of the series. Along with Natsumi, he was one of the first humans to discover Sergeant Keroro. Although Keroro was initially wary of humans, he quickly bonded with the boy, and the two began spending so much time together that they could effectively be considered partners.

Tomoko Kawakami

Tamama

Utama

Male

Height: 55.5cm Tamama is private second class of the Keroro Platoon. He is the newest member in the planetary invasion troop, and also the youngest. His name stems from the Japanese word otamajakushi "tadpole". He is a very faithful subordinate to Keroro. Tamama is possessed of a tendency to have mood swings that border on a split personality, just like his partner Momoka Nishizawa. While usually gentle and cheerful, Tamama can become a vengeful, raving maniac at the drop of a hat. This change is usually accompanied by the sound of a balloon popping. Tamama is also prone to fits of jealousy, usually towards anyone who gets near Keroro (especially Angol Mois, who he frequently refers to as "that woman"). Tamama likes junk food (especially candy, cake, cola, and potato chips) and physical training (he has his own private training room in the Nishizawa Mansion). In the anime, Tamama is diagnosed with high blood sugar because of his love of sweets, as revealed with a physical checkup. Tamama's least favorite sound is nails on a chalkboard. He also dislikes Angol Mois and often calls her "that woman", as he considers her a rival for Keroro's attention. Despite this, Mois seems blissfully unaware of Tamama's hatred towards her.

Etsuko Kozakura

Giroro

Utama

Male

Height: 55.5cm Corporal of the Keroro Platoon. Giroro's history in war left him with a scar and weapon belt in memory of his killed friends. His weapon expertise and power makes him a powerful member of the platoon. His often aggravated and irritably short tempered self is caused by the lackadaisical and unfocused members of the Platoon, especially Keroro, in their invasion of Pekopon. Giroro loves Natsumi Hinata and he would attack anyone who harms her. Giroro is often used as comic relief throughout the series, as he resides outside of the Hinata house in his tent. Most often he is crushed by something dropped from Natsumi's window, or a falling object from space, usually containing an alien of some sort (or Karara). His afro, which only appears after being caught in a blast or DasonuMaso's afro beam, is blond.

Jouji Nakata

Kururu

Utama

Male · Gol. darah AB

Kururu is the head of communications in the Keroro Platoon. Although he is of a higher rank than Keroro, he is not the leader of the Platoon due to his unpleasant and unnerving demeanor, which has given him the nickname of 'Yellow Devil'. Kururu, a Sergeant Major in the Keron Army and the head of communications, is the brain of the Keroro Platoon. He is mischievous, deceitful, downright evil, and enigmatic, almost to the point where some people might call him a mad scientist. He is generally disliked by everyone, most of the characters seeing him as a depressing jerk and in the series, action figures of him tend to sell very poorly on Keron, (much to Kururu's chagrin but Kururu seems to take pride in his bad attitude). Despite this, he gets along quite well with Mutsumi and Aki Hinata. Kururu and Giroro greatly loathe each other due to their vast differences (Brain vs. Brawn) and as a result, Kururu usually uses Giroro as a guinea pig for any invention that he creates. Kururu in childhood used to be blue. Kururu has an affection for curry, causing him to turn yellow. Being the least emotional of the Keroro Platoon, he is almost never seen being moved to tears or smiles by any events, though at the same time he rarely, if ever, panics when something goes wrong, likely due to the multiple dangers from his own inventions outweighing it.

Takehito Koyasu

Dororo

Utama

Male

Height: 55.5cm Lance Corporal Dororo (Formerly known as Zeroro) is the Keroro Platoon's assassin who crash landed on Pekopon and was forgotten about by his platoonmates (as usual.). Soon after, he found his leg caught in a bear trap and awaited his lonely death, until he was rescued by female ninja Koyuki Azumaya (With the help of Zeroyasha, the dog, in the anime). He decided to follow the way of the ninja, he changed his name to Dororo, the name of the forest where Koyuki rescued him. Dororo is often forgotten about by the rest of the platoon and most everyone else but Koyuki, which will cause his Trauma Switch to turn on. When this happens, a purple, gloomy era radiates from Dororo and he will sit in a corner or dark space and cry. His Trauma switch is usually activated when he is reminded of something done to him by Keroro during thier childhood, Such as using him as a shield in a snowball fight caused him to remember when he was used in the same way during a dodgeball game. Dororo has a love for all creatures and nature of Pekopon. He has stated that he has "fallen deeply in love" with the planet. As a result, he will not participate in plans that will potentially harm people's feeling or nature, or endanger any wildlife species on the planet. Dororo has vowed to protect Pekopon at all costs along with Koyuki. Dororo used his natural quietness and ability to be unoticed in the form of stealth after inspired (ironically) by Keroro to become an assassin in the Keronian Military. He joined an elite group of assassins along with Zoruru, led by Jirara, before departing for Pekopon as a Lance Corporal (In the manga, formerly a Private Second Class). Dororo often ends his speech with "De Gozaru", an archaic form of "Desu". Also, Dororo adressed himself as "Sessha", an archaic male form of "I" primarily used by Samurai. Early in the series, one of Dororo's more common actions was to speak to Keroro and the others in the form of a shuriken made of paper which acted as a note, when needed. The shuriken would always seem to stick itself in Keroro's head, usually causing him to freak out until it's removed by another platoonmate. Dororo does not need to be close by to perform this.

Takeshi Kusao

Natsumi Hinata

Utama

Female · Umur 13-16

Height: 158cm She is the eldest daughter of the Hinata family and Fuyuki Hinata's older sister. She is a Sagittarius and a student in Class 2-A of Kissho Gakuen Junior High School. Her partner is Corporal Giroro. She excels in both academics and athletics. Perhaps because her mother is often away for work, she is also skilled at household chores like cooking. Her physical prowess often leads to requests for her to help out with various school clubs; while she enjoys sports and physical activity, she does not belong to any specific club because, as mentioned, she has to handle the housework at home. However, regarding her studies, her grades have occasionally dropped due to interference from Keroro and his group. On the other hand, unlike her mother and younger brother, she is not good at arts or cultural activities. She is not very skilled at drawing and has a unique sense for naming things. She is also a poor actor; perhaps due to her honest nature, her thoughts are immediately visible on her face. She is also bad at Rock-Paper-Scissors. She is uncomfortable with "occult" matters like ghosts and spirits, yet she possesses a spiritual sensitivity that causes her to frequently encounter paranormal phenomena. She also believes in things like horoscopes and the "Seven Mysteries of the School"—unscientific concepts that ordinary people tend to believe in. She also dislikes "slimy things" like slugs (in fact, part of the reason she doesn't view Keroro and the other Keronians favorably is simply because they are frogs). She is an avid fan of the radio personality 623 and a listener of his show, "623's My Radio." She is also a fan of Dance☆Man.

Hiroaki Ogi

Narrator

Pendukung

Keiji Fujiwara

Aki Hinata

Pendukung

Female

Height: 160-162cm She is the head of the Hinata household and the mother of Natsumi and Fuyuki. She is also a career woman working as an editor for a manga magazine published by Tsunoyama Shoten. Her husband's whereabouts are also unknown, the most likely reason for his absence from the Hinata home is that he is away on a long-term trip, such as an overseas assignment or a job transfer. She has a fundamentally cheerful and kind personality. Unlike Natsumi, who constantly scolds Keroro for slacking off on his chores, she tends to be lenient with him. She also has a habit of addressing members of the Keroro Platoon by taking the first two syllables of their names and adding the suffix "-chan" (e.g., "Kero-chan," "Giro-chan"). Furthermore, she is highly curious and athletic; because she tends to take bold actions in whatever she does, Kururu has nicknamed her a "Dynamite Woman." While this nickname alludes to her physique, it primarily refers to her behavior. True to the name, the story often depicts her doing things like fending off aliens while riding her motorcycle—her usual mode of transport for commuting—or instinctively knocking out creatures with a single blow. The original manga reveals that she holds a 15th-degree black belt in Aikido, a fact that likely contributes to her bold actions.

Akiko Hiramatsu

Momoka Nishizawa

Pendukung

Female · Umur 12-14

She represents the "West" among the four winds surrounding the Hinata household. She is the daughter of the Nishizawa family—owners of the massive Nishizawa Group conglomerate—and stands as its de facto successor. Her father is Umeo Nishizawa, president of the Nishizawa Group, and her mother is Ouka Nishizawa, a world champion martial artist. Her partner is Private Second Class Tamama, and outside of school, she is almost always accompanied by her butler, Paul Moriyama. She possesses a dual personality inherited from her mother; while she is normally a demure and lovely girl, she undergoes a drastic transformation into "Dark Momoka"—a persona with a fiercely violent and crude temperament—whenever she gets angry. This "dark" side is terrifying enough to strike fear into the hearts of the Keroro Platoon. She harbors feelings for Fuyuki Hinata—who treats her no differently than anyone else—and often leverages her status as a wealthy heiress to devise large-scale schemes to grow closer to him. According to the "dark" persona, the "normal" Momoka is a "cowardly weakling who is terrified of getting hurt." True to this description, she is often too shy to even bring up Fuyuki's name; consequently, the aforementioned large-scale schemes are largely driven by a desire to make him fall for her gradually without him realizing it.

Haruna Ikezawa

Mutsumi Houjou

Pendukung

Male

Saburo, also known as 623 (Mutsumi) or Mutsumi Houjou in the manga is a main character in the Keroro Gunso series. Mutsumi is a high school student in the manga, while Saburo is a middle school student in the anime. He has an I.Q. of 350 and is Kururu's partner, due to having similar wavelengths. He is the least-active main character of the series, but plays a fairly significant role as Kururu's partner/friend and Natsumi's crush. In the anime, Saburo's identity as Kururu's collaborator is at first a secret (though it's quite obvious), whereas in the manga it comes almost immediately to light. He skips class a lot and is rumored at school to be a member of the "Men in Black", though that doesn't seem to affect Natsumi's high opinion of him. Saburo is excellent in sports, academics, poetry, art, and philosophy, which is why he has a hard time fitting in with his classmates. There are even rumors about him being an alien. He hosts a late-night radio program which Natsumi compulsively listens to.

Akira Ishida

Koyuki Azumaya

Pendukung

Female · Umur 14-16

Height: 152cm Koyuki is a foreign kunoichi who falls in love with Natsumi soon after coming to her home in Japan. She finds and rescues a stranded Zeroro and teaches him the ways of the ninja. She often wears a bow to tie back her hair and can instantly become a ninja. Her skills as a civilian and a ninja are exceptionally outstanding and her athletic ability even rivals that of Natsumi, making her one of the most physically powerful characters of the series. Despite having amazing powers and quite a hard and strict past, Koyuki is very carefree, optimistic, and eccentric for a normal Japanese girl, but believes in what is right and gets along nicely with her friends.

Ryou Hirohashi

Angol Mois

Pendukung

Female

Height: 155cm Angol Moa is the "King of Terror", who is ditzy and insecure as a result of her impact from space. She was sent to planet Earth to arrive in July 1999 for Earth's destruction, as predicted by Nostradamus, under orders from her father. In the anime, she arrives 500 years too early and takes a nap in orbit, until she wakes up in 2004, 5 years too late. In the manga, she lands near Fuyuki, while in the anime, she lands on Giroro's tent. In both, she is taken into the Hinatas' home, where she is nursed back to health by Natsumi. When she wakes up, she reveals her true form and starts to destroy the Earth, until Keroro, who arrives later, is persuaded by Fuyuki to stop Mois. The Angols use seemingly magical weapons to destroy planets. Her weapon is the "Lucifer Spear", which, when not in use, looks and functions like a cellphone. When she is using her attack, "Hellmageddon", the Lucifer Spear becomes a golden staff with a crescent moon on one end and a meteor on the other end. She uses the meteor end to initiate Hellmageddon. She is close friends with Keroro, who she calls oji-sama, which means, roughly, "uncle". Whenever she sees anyone hitting Keroro is any way, she transforms and uses a watered down version of Hellmageddon, which usually catches others, including Keroro, in the blast. Tamama often competes with her for Keroro's attention (and affection). To blend in with the Earth people, Mois also transforms into a tanned, bleached-blonde teenage kogal who is always seen in a school uniform and loose socks. Her true form is a pale gray-haired girl who wears a purple-and-white magical girl costume. Although the King of Terror, she is anything but terrifying. She's sweet, clumsy, and peppy but can be scary when she's in Angol form, and uses her Lucifer Spear to split the Earth. She got her Earth-look from when she first arrived in 1999 (2004 in the anime), before she met the Hinatas. In the anime she saw a teenage girl (named Masami) who was beating up some thugs in order to protect her friends. Amazed by her courage, she decided to be like that girl and chose her appearance as her Earth-form. In the manga she saw a girl shake off her friend/underling and decided to become like her, following her father's advice to think only of herself while on her mission.

Mamiko Noto

Paul Moriyama

Pendukung

Male

Height: 175cm He is the butler assigned to Momoka Nishizawa. At first glance, he appears to be nothing more than a mild-mannered butler. In reality, however, he is a "former soldier" who has survived the battlefield and amassed a wealth of experience. While much of his background remains shrouded in mystery, his presence is imposing enough to intimidate Tamama—an expert in hand-to-hand combat—and his prowess is sufficient to ignite the fighting spirit of Giroro, a master of close-quarters combat. He possesses a diverse history, having fought on the southern front and endured a war of attrition amidst the snows of the north. His capabilities are such that he serves as the final line of defense for the Nishizawa family's security system; unlike the standard armed security teams, he specializes in martial arts. He has even engaged in a serious, all-out battle against Giroro during a snowball fight. When fighting in earnest, he switches into a red martial arts uniform and employs special moves reminiscent of those used by famous martial artists. He displays physical prowess that belies his age, earning praise from Ouka—Momoka's mother and a world champion martial artist—who noted that the sharpness of his techniques has actually increased over time. He is also keenly aware of the fundamental dynamic between invaders and the invaded—a perspective distinct from Natsumi's.

He normally wears a sandogasa and a striped cape reminiscent of an Edo period gambler, but at crucial moments he changes into a Zorro-esque costume with the letters ZZ on the chest. He is very dexterous and can build almost any machine to suit his needs. His favorite food is anpan.
