Karakter & Staf

Hina Setoguchi

Utama

Female · Umur 16-20 · Gol. darah A

Height: 149 cm (4'10") Yuu's little sister. She is a bubbly, sweet and energetic girl. She's expressive on par with Natsuki, due to her exaggerated way of showing her emotions when she's upset or when she's happy. Despite her upbeat attitude, she does have her insecurities as well. She feels like she can't properly approach the person she loves and stops just short of conveying her feelings throughout her entire relationship with Koyuki, which frustrates her to no end. Despite going through a lot of effort to obtain him, she knows that he might not respond to her feelings, which always puts a seed of doubt in her mind. As a friend, Hina is perceptive and emphatic to other people's struggles, leading her to easily make friends with Arisa and learn about her problems. Like Natsuki, she can look beyond initial appearances and keep a close friendship with those considered outcasts, like Koyuki was when he was in his middle school years. She can also pick up on people's feelings towards others quickly, which helps her realize her true standing with Koyuki and lets her realize that Kotaro's in love with her.

Momo Asakura

Kotarou Enomoto

Utama

Male · Umur 16-20 · Gol. darah B

Height: 160 cm (5'3″) The younger brother of Natsuki Enomoto. Like his sister, Kotaro is a very emotive person. He's very quick to anger and annoy.

Natsuki Hanae

Koyuki Ayase

Utama

Male · Umur 16-18 · Gol. darah A

Height: 163 cm (5'4") Koyuki was never really confident in himself throughout the story, especially from being picked on for his effeminate looks and name. In school activities, he didn't participate in many of them due to his lack of self-confidence and his weak constitution. He does, however, enjoy reading manga, and bonded with Natsuki because of it. When it comes to love, he seems to have made peace with the fact that Natsuki liked someone else, and advises those that talk to him about love to not make the same mistakes he himself made.

Tsubasa Yonaga

Haruki Serizawa

Pendukung

Male · Umur 17-24 · Gol. darah A

Height: 175 cm (5′9″) Haruki is described as sharp and somewhat rambunctious. He's also incredibly ambitious, putting his all into every piece of work he contributes to and keeping a tight focus on his work, to the point where he's forced to take breaks if found out. Despite his outgoing personality, he still has trouble talking to his crush, and is very similar to her in that they both don't have the courage to confess to one another. When it comes to something he likes, he's said to be constantly criticizing it instead of praising it because he finds it fascinating, in what Yu calls a tsundere fashion. His criticism of Miou's work also stems from that aside from the obvious assistance.

Kenichi Suzumura

Miou Aida

Pendukung

Female · Umur 17-24 · Gol. darah A

Height: 153 cm (5'0") Miou is very demure as a teenager, making her presence small wherever she goes. Her shyness extends to romantic interactions, particularly with Haruki; she doesn't make any overt gestures of affection to him, but she does show her love passively, like waiting for him so they can walk home every day. Aside from being shy, she's also very fragile; she cries when she thinks that Haruki may like someone else and bursts into happy tears when Haruki returns after seven years. Compared to her friends, Miou is a lot more self-criticizing. She recognizes that she was not forward with Haruki and does not like that she cannot muster up the courage to push their relationship forwards, but has come to terms with their initially doomed romance. She gains a more nostalgic perspective on the matter in adulthood.

Aki Toyosaki

Akari Hayasaka

Pendukung

Female · Umur 17-24 · Gol. darah O

Height: 158 cm (5′2″) Akari is seen as a beautiful and gentle person. She has a positive personality, trying to make the best of a situation. It surprisingly morphs into a motherly personality around her friends, comforting them when they are heartbroken or being their cheer squad in the background when it comes down to their hopes for the future. She's also described as a bit of an airhead. Her attitude and thought process towards her work is unusual compared to her peers and friends, something only Haruki seems to share with her. Despite her experience with her friends, she's clueless about what the concept of "love" means to her, leading to her not falling in love until her high school third year, and is ignorant of the feelings of those infatuated with her for that same reason.

Kana Asumi

Saku Akechi

Pendukung

Gol. darah O

Height: 183 cm (6′0″) Saku Akechi serves as Sakuragaoka High School's Japanese teacher. He is considered to be an admirable teacher by most of his students for his cool head and his stoic personality. He has a habit of giving his various students advice whenever they're stuck, many of them koans from various Japanese texts, and applies them to their situations. His laid-back attitude also allows him to approach the students easily. As a teenager, his personality was comparable to Yu's; while he's still more outwardly put together than his friends, he still was very emotional and enjoyed his time. He also used to tutor Haruki along with playing with him. In adulthood, he took up a habit of smoking. He's been trying to cut back down on it for personal reasons and because he's a teacher, so he substitutes it with lollipops in between cigarettes. (Source: Confession Executive Committee Wikia)

Hikaru Midorikawa

Yuu Setoguchi

Pendukung

Male · Umur 17-24

Height: 178 cm (5′10″) Yu's a boy that gets along easily with boys and girls alike, and is generally seen as a "cool" character. He's not one to anger easily, and keeps a cool head when he's around his more energetic friends. He doesn't wear his emotions on his sleeve, but sometimes they slip out in muted ways. When it comes down to romance, he does get naturally fixated on Natsuki and watches any potential suitors to her with suspicion. Though he takes his relationship with Natsuki for granted, he is still possessive of her, citing their history as childhood friends as the reason why. He still wants her to come to a decision on relationships without others influencing her. Because of his experiences with Hina, Kotaro, and Natsuki, he's adopted a nurturing image that reportedly makes him look "more mature".

Hiroshi Kamiya

Souta Mochizuki

Pendukung

Male · Umur 17-24

Height: 165 cm (5′5″) Earnest and straightforward. His feelings are pure, but he tends to get jealous. Since he has a childish face, his friends make fun of him. His nickname "Mochita" comes from combining his name and the word "yakimochi" (jealousy). Despite being nice, his main insecurity is his possessiveness. He obviously wants the object of his affections to be happy, but he wants to keep her to himself and imagines scenarios where she's either saddened, heartbroken, or made unhappy by somebody else. It heavily comes into conflict with his low self-esteem; despite thinking that he wants her for his own, he doesn't think he's even worthy of a shot with her considering all of the mean and negative thoughts he has on a daily basis.

Yuuki Kaji

Natsuki Enomoto

Pendukung

Female · Umur 17-24

Height: 161 cm (5′3″) Energetic, passionate, and loud, Natsuki has a very active and tomboyish personality. She's not very good at activities usually considered feminine, like cooking or applying makeup, but she wants to improve at them for herself and for the sake of a relationship with Yu. She's a very emphatic person, but a lot of the time she's oblivious to the feelings of others. Although in love with Yu, she takes for granted that they've known each other for years and didn't stop to think about his feelings when she hangs out with Koyuki or Haruki. She doesn't think much of Koyuki's intention to take her out to something she likes, thinking that his intentions were completely platonic. She often compares herself to Miou and Akari in terms of what to be as girls and as fellow artists, given that they're always winning critical reception and Natsuki is very small time. She tries to hold herself to standards she can't reach and doesn't know what she wants out of life. When touching upon subjects with heavy weight to them, she dances around ideas by shifting the conversation to something else, and saves the conversation for a later date.

Haruka Tomatsu

Sena Narumi

Pendukung

Female · Gol. darah B

Height: 160 cm (5'2") Sena, in concept, is the kind of person girls would look up to and the type of girl boys would like to date. She is positive, friendly, and has strong self worth, preferring to live true to herself. Where family is concerned, she shows her support on her sleeve. Her personality ends up inspiring other cast members such as Arisa and her younger sister. Where it concerns romance, Sena is shy at first, but once in the relationship she's best described as assertive. Rather than being led around by her lover, Sena instead initiates contact in dates. She is a teen fashion model, having been scouted in middle school. Besides being a public personality, Sena is also a fashion designer and the in-universe creator of the HANICOS makeup brand and the Honey×Honey fashion brand. (Source: Love Committee Wiki)

Sora Amamiya

Midori Hamanaka

Pendukung

Male

Height: 169 cm (5′6″) The love interest of Sena Narumi.

Gero

Ken Shibasaki

Pendukung

Male · Gol. darah O

Height: 167 cm (5'5") Ken's major priority is women, and he doesn't like to hide it. Often seen flirting around with his female classmates, Ken enjoys talking about them and frequently goes on dates with different girls. Despite his lax attitude with them, Ken is nicer to girls than he is with guys, and looks out for them from afar rather than actively. With friends, he's nothing but cheerful and joking, often teasing them to their annoyance. His seemingly carefree attitude does hide a serious side underneath, but he buries it under positive interactions and playful banter. Whatever criticism he gets is also seemingly washed over, but he takes it to heart and stews over it when he's not interacting with friends. Back when he was a child, he was much more shy and not likely to stand out. He couldn't make any friends as a result, and cried often. His personality change in middle and high school reflects that.

Yoshimasa Hosoya

Koudai Yamamoto

Pendukung

Male · Gol. darah A

Height: 172 cm (5'8") A Sakuragaoka High School student in Class 1-1, and a friend and member of the "Idiot Trio" consisting of himself, Kotaro Enomoto, and Ken Shibasaki. Of the Idiot Trio, Kodai is by far the most levelheaded member. He's not one to lose his head over minor inconveniences, but does make his anger and displeasure known in subtle ways, such as a change of tone or sarcasm. Otherwise he's quiet and out of the way, watching everyone from the sidelines. Has a calm personality. In addition, he's attentive and willing to hear his friends and others out. Whenever Ken or Kotaro have the chance to talk to him alone, they always end up spilling out their thoughts, and he's ready to provide support or an answer to their worries.

Yoshitsugu Matsuoka

Arisa Takamizawa

Pendukung

Female · Gol. darah B

Height: 150 cm (4'9") Arisa is one of the first year students in Sakuragaoka High School, a friend of Kotaro Enomoto, and the primary love interest of Ken Shibasaki. In middle school, Arisa was shown to be somewhat submissive until the bullying incident, going along with what the rest of the class says or does even if she was uncomfortable with it. It was a big weak point for her, given how compassionate she is otherwise, but she is one to own up to her feelings if given a proper push. She's a very courageous and outgoing girl following the incident, however. She's willing to stick up for her friends, offers them her protection, and also tries to talk with them more. She still has problems with communicating though, given that she feels insecure about the incident and she hates the feeling of being alone. (Source: Love Committee Wikia)
