Shouyou Hinata

Utama

Male · Umur 15-

Teams: Yukigaoka Junior High (Former); Karasuno High (Current) Number: 1 (Junior High 3rd Year); 10 (High School 1st year); 5 (High School 3rd year) Position: Captain (Junior High); Outside Hitter (Junior High); Middle Blocker (High School) Hinata has an unusually high ability to jump. Since he was young, Hinata trained his legs to compensate for his lack of height. He joins the Karusuno High School Volleyball team and amazes the team with his natural affinity as a spiker. Although he is a complete beginner and never had any experience playing in a volleyball team, he grows rapidly through each match.

Ayumu Murase

Tobio Kageyama

Utama

Male · Umur 15-

Team: Karasuno High, Kitagawa Daiichi Junior High (former) Height: 180.6 cm Year: 1st Year, class 3 Number: 9 Position: Setter A famous setter in his middle school who joins the Karusuno High Volleyball team. He was known as the "King of the Court" in his middle school because of his arrogant demeanor and the way he would order around his teammates. Although he still carries an overbearing attitude, he begins to change when he starts to play with Hinata Shouyou who views him as a rival.

Kaito Ishikawa

Koushi Sugawara

Pendukung

Male · Umur 17-

Height: 174 cm Being the vice captain, Sugawara has a soothing personality for his teammates and acts as a pillar of support for them. Even though he isn't Karasuno's official setter anymore, he doesn't dream of giving up on playing in general. As such, he encourages himself and all of his teammates not to give up, no matter how rough the situation might be. Sugawara's dedication to volleyball is clear when he decides to continue club activities even when most third years choose to retire to focus on their futures. In a meeting, his teacher asked Sugawara why he's so determined to continue playing even though he's not a starting member, and Sugawara replied that he doesn't want to have regrets in the future. He is also quite perceptive as he noticed how Tanaka asked for the key to the gym (back during the first years' 3-on-3 match) even though he always comes in late, so Sugawara knew that something was up. He is also intelligent as he can come up with helpful tactics during the game. An example of this is when he came up with the idea of saying "bring it" and "send it to me" for Kageyama and Hinata's combo.

Miyu Irino

Daichi Sawamura

Pendukung

Male · Umur 17-

Team: Karasuno High Height: 176.8 cm Year: 3rd year, class 4 Number: 1 Position: Wing Spiker The captain of the Karasuno High volleyball club.

Satoshi Hino

Ryuunosuke Tanaka

Pendukung

Male · Umur 16-22

Height: 177.2 cm Team: Karasuno High Number: 5 Position: Wing Spiker

Yuu Hayashi

Yuu Nishinoya

Pendukung

Male · Umur 16-25

Team: Karasuno High, Chidoriyama Junior High (former) Height: 159.3 cm (5'2") Year: 2nd year, Class 3 Number: 4 Position: Libero Yuu is a very energetic and temperamental person. His boisterous nature and crazy shenanigans can attract unwanted attention quite easily, which often bodes ill for him. Although he hardly ever worries about the consequences of his actions (and may even revert to violence in order to vent out his anger on certain occasions), he is surprisingly considerate of his friends' feelings and insecurities. Yuu can be extremely impatient, excitable and impulsive. As Ryuunosuke Tanaka puts it, "he simply gets too fired up for his own good." He doesn't bother to filter his words, and is therefore prone to blurting out whatever he's thinking in a loud and tactless manner. In-game, however, his attitude changes drastically: he becomes incredibly focused and serious, remaining calm and doing everything in his power to provide the support his team needs until the very end. For this reason, everyone in the volleyball club respects him greatly.

Nobuhiko Okamoto

Kei Tsukishima

Pendukung

Male · Umur 15-

Height: 188 cm Team: Karasuno High Year: 1st year, class 4 Number: 11 Position: Middle Blocker A member of the Karasuno High volleyball club. Tsukishima is very blunt and will sometimes rile his teammates up due to his antagonistic nature (most notably being Hinata, Kageyama, Nishinoya, and Tanaka) and sometimes other teams because of his casual smug attitude, taking pride in and relishing when his opponents see him as a nuisance as seen with Tendou and Shirabu. Tsukishima is standoffish and has an arrogant and condescending personality, but he has low self-esteem and thinks of himself as inferior. Although he is only outwardly close with Yamaguchi, he can be seen occasionally caring about his other club members.

Kouki Uchiyama

Chikara Ennoshita

Pendukung

Male · Umur 16

Team: Karasuno High Height: 175.4 cm Year: 2nd year, class 4 Position: Wing Spiker Ennoshita seems quiet and reserved but can behave boldly towards the other 2nd years. He's smart and hasn't received a failing mark before. Similarly to Sugawara, he is always smiling. He's supposedly the only one within the 2nd years to be able to control Tanaka and Nishinoya. He's also able to understand different people, as stated a few times by Tanaka and when he knew what to do to give Yamaguchi some courage before his jump float serve.

Toshiki Masuda

Asahi Azumane

Pendukung

Male · Umur 17

Team: Karasuno High Height: 184.7 cm Year: 3rd year, class 3 Number: 3 Position: Wing Spiker In contrast to his appearance, he is rather quiet and gentle and has his difficulties realizing that he is Karasuno's ace as he initially doesn't feel that way. He shows to be weak-willed at the beginning when he leaves the team before the first years come, feeling that he let down his entire team when they lost against Date Tech High even though they counted on him. After coming back to Karasuno, he realizes that his will to play volleyball is much stronger than he thought and with the help of his teammates, he acknowledges his position as Karasuno's ace (even though he is still mocked sometimes by Daichi for not having any "ace-like presence") and gains self-confidence.

Yoshimasa Hosoya

Kiyoko Shimizu

Team: Karasuno High Height: 166.2 cm Year: 3rd Year, class 2 The manager of the Karasuno High volleyball club.

Pendukung

Team: Nekoma High School Height: 187.7 cm Year: 3rd Year, class 5 Number: 1 Position: Middle Blocker The captain of the Nekoma High School volleyball club. Kuroo has a somehow manipulative and cunning personality, but cares about his friends and teammates very deeply. As Nekoma's captain he has a sense of responsibility and confidence. Even though Kuroo's a middle blocker, he often uses offensive plays too.

Yuuichi Nakamura

Tadashi Yamaguchi

Pendukung

Male · Umur 15

Team: Karasuno High Height: 179.5 - 180 cm Year: 1st year, class 4 Number: 12 Position: Middle Blocker Yamaguchi always hangs out with Tsukishima and is very protective of him. He has trained himself hard to use a jump float serve. He is also a substitute ace server of the Karasuno Volleyball team.

Souma Saitou

Ittetsu Takeda

Pendukung

Male · Umur 29

Team: Karasuno High Height: 166.5 cm Volleyball club faculty advisor of the Karasuno High School. Takeda is inexperienced in volleyball, but still became an advisor for Karasuno. He often doesn't understand rules and that's why he takes notes about every new thing he learns. Takeda has an enthusiastic and brave personality.

Hiroshi Kamiya

Koutarou Bokuto

Pendukung

Male

Height: 185.3 cm Bokuto is a third year student at Fukurodani Academy and is its volleyball team's captain and wing spiker. His spikes pack a powerful punch that others can struggle to receive. Despite this, Bokuto has a tendency to not doing well in the middle of games when getting shut out. Luckily, Akaashi has a whole list of things Bokuto does and tries his best to bring Bokuto back up to his usual self. Besides Akaashi, Bokuto is friends with a few other rival team's players, such as Kuroo and sorta friends with Tsukishima.

Ryouhei Kimura

Keiji Akaashi

Pendukung

Male

Height: 182.3 cm A second year at Fukurodani Academy, and its volleyball team's vice-captain and setter. Akaashi is often calm and collected, though he does have times where he begins to get worried about things. More often than not, he has to handle Bokuto and all of his antics during the game. When such happens, Akaashi usually thinks of some way to bring Bokuto into peak condition again, though there are times where he struggles with doing so.

Ryouta Oosaka

Hitoka Yachi

Pendukung

Female · Umur 15-24

Team: Karasuno High Position: Manager Occupation: High School Student (1st Year, Class 5) A 1st year who was recruited by Shimizu as a manager trainee. She appears to be very nervous, but easily befriends Hinata. She's paranoid (which causes her to be intimidated easily), very curious, and is organized with her notes, including the ones that she takes from class; this is largely due to her mother being a graphic designer.

Sumire Morohoshi

Saeko Tanaka

Pendukung

Female

Saeko Tanaka is a former student of Karasuno High and the older sister of Ryuunosuke Tanaka. She was also a classmate of the Small Giant during her high school years. The second years of the volleyball team views her as a cool older sister, especially Nishinoya, but Tanaka thinks of her as a nuisance whenever she bothers his study sessions. Like her brother, she's loud and outspoken. Her driving has been described by her brother as dangerous as he had once stated to Hinata and Kageyama that he can't guarantee their safety in her car.

Yuka Komatsu

Kyoutou

Pendukung

Male

Vice Principal of Karasuno High School. He is balding and attempts to keep his head covered with a toupee. He is said to have a bad relationship with the volleyball club that has gotten worse since Hinata and Kageyama joined the club. However, once the team starts to win again, he begins supporting the club more.

Yasumichi Kushida

Minaho Ono

Teacher at Karasuno High School. She is often seen teaching Hinata's classes, overseeing tests, and working in the staff room. When the Karasuno boys' team won an important match, she joined the students in opening the windows and cheering to welcome them back. She attends the Karasuno vs. Shiratorizawa match and tells the Vice Principal that their hastily-assembled cheering section had not been practiced enough.
