Yaiba Kurogane

Utama

Male

Yaiba lives with his father, Kenjurou, in the forest. One day, while Yaiba was eating, a troop of gorillas came to attack. Yaiba and his father escaped and hid inside a box, but they didn't know that the box was full of pineapples and was going to be transported into the city. In the city, Yaiba finds out that he is a legendary warrior and has to fight the evil of a demonic looking high-school student named Takeshi Onimaru.

Takeshi Onimaru

Male

Takeshi is the primary antagonist of Yaiba. Originally a very serious person, Onimaru could not get along with Yaiba at all and the two quickly became rivals.

Ryou Horikawa

Kumo Otoko

Pendukung

Male

One of the original eight demons who closely supported the Fuujin oni, reincarnated in the body of a spider and thus took the shape of his host. Prefers to fight using head over brawns... but fails miserably at it: even though he is smart enough to create complex plans that actually work, his goofy nature causes them to backfire humorously most of the time. He becomes Onimaru's right hand man, not because of his merits but because there was nothing better at the time. He is constantly sent to do his master's bidding, such as recruiting new warriors or gathering intel. Even though he is part of Onimaru's ranks, he is actually not a bad guy. However, his undying loyalty towards his master is evident, but he never shows any real ill-will towards Yaiba's group. This trait also causes him to be the only one of the eight demons to back up Onimaru until the very end (the others either were slain, or changed sides), even though he is mistreated quite often.

Gerozaimon Geroda

Latar

One of the original eight demons who closely supported the Fuujin oni, reincarnated in the body of a frog and thus took the shape of his host. The first demon sent after Yaiba, he led a few skirmishes against Yaiba's party, but was eventually defeated and captured. Shortly after, the Snakeman demon appeared to both attack Yaiba and get rid of the Frogman due to his uselessness. Gerozaemon, with no place to return and a peaceful nature, was welcomed into Yaiba's group after the battle against the Snakeman. A melee fighter, he favors the use of body-slam techniques reminiscent of sumo, but can also skillfully use axes and his own tongue as weapons when needed.
