Captain Harlock

Utama

Male · Umur 30

Status: Captain of the Arcadia, Former Captain of the Death Shadow Harlock is the archetypical romantic hero, a space pirate with an individualist philosophy of life. He is as noble as he is taciturn, rebellious, stoically fighting against totalitarian regimes, whether they be earth-born or alien. In his own words, he "fights for no one's sake... only for something deep in his heart". (Source: Wikipedia)

Shun Oguri

Yattaran

Pendukung

Harlock's first mate on the Arcadia, he is usually portrayed as comic relief in the series, but when a battle against alien threats become imminent he will be at the captain's side. He is also a brilliant mathematician and has a major interest in building plastic model kits of ships (he was even seen building a scale model of the Arcadia in one episode). Yattaran is based on manga artist Kaoru Shintani (best known for Area 88) who, in his early career worked for Matsumoto building models for reference. (Source: Wikipedia)

Arata Furuta

Kei Yuki

Pendukung

A lady with an unknown age human woman with blonde hair who was already part of Harlock's crew at the time Tadashi came aboard, Kei was rescued by Harlock when he raided a ship that was transporting her as a prisoner back to Earth following an assault by her upon a military officer who had belittled her father's death. She initially seems to have a crush towards Tadashi Daiba, though the two eventually settle into a platonic friendship. In later additions to the franchise, she is instead portrayed as romantically inclined towards Harlock himself. She is the Arcadia's chief navigator and science officer, and she is the second-youngest crew member after Tadashi. (Source: Wikipedia)

Miyuki Sawashiro

La Mimay

Pendukung

La Mimay is of the Alozaran race in the Algol system, a world which, like Tokarga, was conquered and milked dry by the Illumidas. She is first seen working as a secretary for Prime Minister Triter, the spineless puppet leader of the Illumidas-occupied earth (as seen in My Youth in Arcadia.) She warns Zoll of Tokarga, whom she has fallen in love with, that his planet is set to be destroyed (a job which they had offered to Harlock, and which he flatly refused,) and they form an alliance with Harlock, Emeraldas, and Tochiro, who has built the Arcadia in secret beneath the Illumidas Occupation Force HQ. After Harlock is banished from earth, La Mimay remains with him as chief of communications. La Mimay is deathly afraid of the sentient glowing disk the Arcadia encounters in its travels, believing it to be the "Golden Goddess" of Alozaran legend, whose appearance supposedly signals the ends of all things. When it becomes apparent that the way to the mythical planet Arcadia (which Harlock and company are seeking in the SSX series,) is guarded by the golden being, she only very reluctantly agrees that the ship should press on. La Mimay is not the same character as the Mimay that appeared in Space Pirate and Galaxy Express, possessing no psychic abilities, and never said to be alcohol-dependent. A character chart in the My Youth in Arcadia Roman Album lists the two as blood relatives, but frankly, this is clearly bunk; the two are entirely different species, and never once meet. She is also not, as has been misreported, a cyborg, though a cyborg spy does impersonate La Mimay in SSX episode nine. (Source: cornponeflicks.org/harlock/pirates.html)
