Kazuma

Utama

Male · Umur 16

Known as The Shell Bullet in the anime and Kazuma "The Treasoner" in the manga. A Native Alter from the Lost Ground, he was initially classified as a Class "C" Alter User by HOLY, but was risen to Class "A" after defeating Asuka Tachibana. However, when Kazuma and Ryuho violently clash in Episode 13, Tachibana states that their power has to be of Class "S" Alter Users to cause so much devastation. He is regarded as the most dangerous Native Alter in the Lost Ground. Kazuma is mostly a reckless person with little regard for his own safety. He will do anything for the right price, although he does show concern and care for his close friends. He lives with Kanami Yuta (who is also an Alter User) in an abandoned dentist's office. He has a strong rivalry with Ryuho, which is featured prominently in the series. He is the student of HOLY member Straight Cougar, whom Kazuma refers to as his "big brother". Kazuma's Alter power is Shell Bullet, an alloy fusion type Alter. In its first form, his right arm is covered in a protective metal alloy and three curved fins are created on his right shoulder blade. In this form, the fins disintegrate and propel him forward at great speed. When a fin is disintegrated, Kazuma shouts either "Shocking First Bullet" if it is the first fin, "Annihilating Second Bullet" if it is the second fin or "Exterminating Last Bullet" if it is the third fin. He mainly has three transformations, and with each one, he wears more and more armor. His last form in the Anime is similar to a lion, the armor covers his entire body, with a tail-like protrusion in his back that allows for high speed movement. Due in part to keeping his ability and true employment a secret from many of those in the Lost Ground he is considered a bum, coward, and lazy. (At least during the beginning part of the series). However, he returns the insults with attitude and insults of his own. Except however for those closest to him to which he truly respects and cares for, such as Kanami Yuta whom he treats as a little sister. He still keeps the secret from them, but allows them to treat him however they wish.

Souichirou Hoshi

Kanami Yuta

Utama

An eight year old girl who lives with Kazuma taking care of the house and working in the town's farm. She sees Kazuma as a lazy bum who skips work, unaware of how Kazuma acquires money to support them or that he is an alter user for the first half of the story. She narrates the story in her dreams and seems to have a psychic connection to Kazuma although she's unaware it's him she dreams of, so she refers to the man in her dreams as "my hero" relying on him as a form of moral support. In episode 12 she learns the truth about Kazuma, as does the rest of the farm village, and when she learns that he is the one responsible for helping everyone behind the scenes she gains an immense amount of respect for him.

Yukari Tamura

Hou Ryuu

Utama

Male · Umur 17

Ryuuhou is widely regarded as the strongest HOLY member. He develops a strong rivalry with Kazuma, the only native alter on Lost Ground to escape HOLY, continuously foil HOLY's plans afterwards, and fight Ryuuhou one-on-one without being defeated instantly. Ryuuhou is extremely strict, refuses to talk about his mother, and does his job without any distractions. Known by Mimori Kiryuu, Ryuuhou's personality has changed in a full circle to a new person.

Yuuko Nagashima

Straight Cougar

Pendukung

Straight Cougar, age 21 (first appearing in Episode 2), is a laid back member of HOLY, and does not seem to think twice about breaking the rules. His philosophy on life: the faster you do one thing, the more time you have for the next thing. He is usually found carrying around a book he never seems to have time to finish. He has problems remembering names, especially Mimori Kiryu's and Kazuma's (tending to call Kazuma "Kazuya" and Mimori "Minori"). In the anime version, Cougar holds romantic feelings for Mimori. He also knew Kazuma as a child and was the originator of the Bullet moves (Shocking First Bullet and so on), that Kazuma originally used, only he calls the last bullet Rapid-Kill Final Bullet instead of Exterminating Last Bullet. He and Kazuma had a brotherly relationship. Although they often refer to each other as brothers, there is no concrete information to show that they are actually related. In the manga, he is known as Cougar Straight, and was Kazuma's mentor, which is why they both have near-identical attacks like "Shocking First Bullet". Straight Cougar is the fastest alter user on the planet and isn't afraid to show it. Using his alter, 'Radical Good Speed', he can transform any vehicle into a fast moving object, 'shrinking the world' by doing things as fast as possible. He can also increase his speed alone without any vehicle by encasing armor to his shins and feet (Radical Good Speed Wheels Unlimited). He is one of the most powerful alter users, capable of high-speed fighting, and can even use his alter power to upgrade his armor to completely cover his body as well.

When Mimori Kiryu makes her presence known, Scheris begins to express a certain amount of jealously when she suspects that Mimori and Ryuhou are more than friends. After a period of this, she loses hope and allows Mimori to make her stand. However, in the manga, Scheris is the one who, at the end of the manga, ends up with Ryuhou, after Mimori gave up hope. Scheris is very energetic in most situations. Scheris' alter ability is "Eternal Devote," which allows her to heal others and bolster their abilities, as well as inflict severe pain through physical contact and even resurrect a fallen comrade. Her alter is difficult to control and saps her of physical strength. But although it was labeled forbidden to use, (Source: Wikipedia)

Although he has no alter powers, he is often willing to put himself in dangerous situations, such as defending the Lost Ground from a HOLY crackdown. A running joke of the series is that every vehicle he gets his hands on is either unintentionally destroyed by Kazuma's actions or destroyed by another Alter User. He has a crush on Ayase Terada. In the anime, he is severely injured and later dies from wounds inflicted during a conflict with HOLY, namely Darth, something which drives Kazuma virtually insane with anger and grief. When the two are later trapped in an underground cave, he is given new insight into the ideals of the native Alters from Kazuma. Asuka's Alter is "Eternity Eight" or the "Eight Treasure Balls", eight small emerald orbs that act as an extension of his will. One of the most versatile Alters in the series, his Eternity Eight can arrange themselves in different patterns and form various energy constructs: a sword, a shield, a platform to ride on, and so forth. They can also be used in singular form for precise actions. Asuka can control the minds of living beings using his Eternity Eight by attaching the orbs to his targets, although some Alter users can resist this effect by force of will. In addition to the orbs, Asuka can manifest a bow to fire his Eternity Eight as an arrow, called the "Eternity Extra Shot". (source: Wikipedia)

Pendukung

He first appears in episode 9. Emergy Maxfell, also known as "Maxfell on the Cliff," and "Pinch Maxfell," has an alter called "Super Pinch Crusher." In times of great distress a pair of giant robots, "Super Pinch Crusher" and "Pinch Bird", appear to save the day and get him out any 'pinch' he's gotten himself into. The greater Maxfell's pinch, the stronger his robots become. The two combine to form "Great Pinch Crusher". In this form, its attacks are known as "Danger Hazard", "Hazard Rapid Fire" and "Reversing Flash Cut", in which the robot uses a giant sword. He often fools his opponents into pushing him to the edge of despair, as that is the only way to activate his alter power. With his Alter, along with his costume, he is a fairly obvious parody of Mecha shows, his uniform, watch and scarf all being clichés of that genre. More specifically, his uniform is a copy of the first Kamen Rider. from wikipedia
