Mirai Kasuga

Utama

Female · Umur 14 · Gol. darah O

Hometown: Tokyo Height: 156 cm Full of energy, and a tad bit dense, Mirai is the center of MILLIONSTARS, taking a similar role to Haruka in the original iDOLM@STER series. She's not a smart girl, as she tends to forget to do her homework, she didn't know who Oda Nobunaga (one of the most, if not the most famous warlord in wartime Japan) was, and she always speaks before thinking. She also seems to be a terrible cook since her homemade special drink caused the Producer to make a really scary face. Her path to become an idol started when her friend took her to a live idol concert (in the manga, it is Shizuka who she met and the concert in question was 765PRO’s theater show, which Shizuka is also part of) and she became so impressed that she instantly quit her club to become an idol. She is also a rather innocent girl who is embarrassed to be in a swimsuit, and isn't sure whether her feelings for the Producer are love or just respect.

Haruka Yamazaki

Tsumugi Shiraishi

Pendukung

Female · Umur 17

Height: 160 cm Hometown: Ishikawa Hobbies: Gardening, Touring for sweet shops A refined yet sharp-tongued girl, Tsumugi speaks very politely and is interested in traditional Japanese things but does not hesitate to speak her mind. Despite her stoic demeanor, she is easily shaken or flustered. She leaps to negative conclusions quite easily, which can be a problem, such as when she thought she, Mizuki, and Shiho were cast as androids in the Melty Fantasia event due to the Producer seeing them as stiff and unfeeling (which ended up being untrue, but it frustrated Shiho at the time). However, her misconceptions can usually be cleared up. Tsumugi was scouted by the Producer when he visited the kimono shop her parents run to return some clothes rented for a performance. While not initially outwardly interested, she later showed up at an audition and revealed that she once wanted to be an idol when she was younger.

Saki Minami

Megumi Tokoro

Pendukung

Female · Umur 16 · Gol. darah O

Hometown: Saitama Prefecture Height: 159 cm At first glance, Megumi may seem like she'd be a sporty character, but her interests like makeup, fashion, and accessories, say otherwise; she has a better sense of style than most people do, and was a model before being scouted as an idol. She's a huge "people person" with lots of friends (and someone who can make friends easily), and hanging out with them (especially at family restaurants) is her favorite thing to do. She is especially close with Elena Shimabara and Kotoha Tanaka, the three of whom later form the unit Tri Star Vision. She also has at least one big brother. She's a pretty normal high school girl, and uses lots of "" and music notes in her speech. But she's not the kind of person that's irresponsible or does things halfway; she has a strong sense of duty. She can consider her situations and read the atmosphere well, as shown in her drama track. Matsuri apparently worries that she worries about her friends a bit too much. There's kind of a gap between her responsibility and her outer appearance. Megumi also has a mindset of "if it's for work, I'll do it", and doesn't really tend to gripe about having to do embarrassing stuff as an idol, even though her tolerance levels can be tested.

Yukiyo Fujii

Tsubasa Ibuki

Pendukung

Female · Umur 14 · Gol. darah B

Hometown: Tokyo Height: 158 cm Tsubasa is a naturally talented and easygoing young girl that loves to do anything she views as fun. Tsubasa takes an interest in whatever is popular and tries to stay up to date with the latest trends. Her dream is to one day have the ideal "happy life" she imagines her role model has and believes this will be easier to reach if she becomes popular, which is why she likes to spend time with Rio, receiving guidance on how to become a "popular lady" like her. Tsubasa was even intrigued by the prospect of becoming an idol because of all the cute clothes they get to wear and because of how fun it looked. Tsubasa is also somewhat naive and has an innocent perception of the world, especially on topics like love and hard work. Tsubasa also struggles putting her thoughts into words and will try to express herself via actions instead, which tends to lead her into misunderstandings. Tsubasa also doesn't hide the fact that she isn't overly fond of hard work or things she thinks are difficult to understand, which also gets her into trouble towards the start of her time as an idol. However, as time progresses, Tsubasa admits that she actually sees how working hard to reach a goal for both herself, and for others, can be fun and rewarding in its own way eventually.

Machico

Shizuka Mogami

Pendukung

Female · Umur 14 · Gol. darah A

Hometown: Saitama Prefecture Height: 162 cm At first glance, one might think that she's a stoic loner because of her harsh words towards the Producer (“I don't have the time!”, ”A producer like this is better than none I guess”). Although, in truth, she is still childish, somewhat hot-blooded, and really cares for her friends. The reason she acts harsh towards the Producer is because her distrust of adults (she sees them as selfish and she thinks that they always look down on children). This may have been caused by her overly strict father, who attempted to dictate his only daughter's life, until they got into a fight for said reason (as hinted in the game and in the theater section of THE IDOLM@STER MILLION RADIO!). The official manga confirms that he only let her become an idol after she begged him to let her, but only after giving her an ultimatum: she has one year to become a successful idol, otherwise he'll bar her from idol activities. That's part of the reason that she's so no-nonsense about being an idol. However, if you can prove that you're trustworthy, she'll start to open up to you (in a "tsun" manner).

Azusa Tadokoro

Elena Shimabara

Pendukung

Female · Umur 17 · Gol. darah B

Hometown: Brazil Height: 160 cm Elena is a half Japanese-Brazilian girl who lived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil before moving to Japan at the age of 6. This has not only allowed her to speak a little bit of Brazilian-Portuguese, but also to speak a bit of Japanese, too. Although she lived in Brazil for only 6 years, Elena has a great love for football and carnivals. She also wants to perform samba, regardless of place and time. Elena is very energetic and friendly, but she's not good with formalities. She's also kindhearted and cares for her friends, especially Kotoha and Megumi.

Asuka Kakumoto

Iku Nakatani

Pendukung

Female · Umur 10 · Gol. darah B

Height: 142 cm Hometown: Tokyo The youngest of the MILLION STARS, who hates being treated like a kid. Iku is quite a precocious child; she is confident that she can do any work without any help from the Producer and she always wants to know the details of her lesson. She is still a child nonetheless, as she's happy when she does work she likes, cries when she's frustrated and becomes really happy when her mother praises her. She became an idol because her mother praised her talents in the performing arts, specifically acting. Upon arriving at the Theater, she assumed that the producer was actually her apprentice that would learn from her, giving her a huge confidence boost on accident.

Akari Harashima

Subaru Nagayoshi

Pendukung

Female · Umur 15 · Gol. darah B

Hometown: Tokyo Height: 154 cm Subaru is a lively baseball fan in possession of lots of stamina and will sometimes even incorporate baseball terminology into her speech while discussing matters completely unrelated to the sport. Subaru ended up being scouted as an idol when she met the producer, after almost accidentally hitting them with a foul ball in the middle of her training. At first however, the producer actually assumes that she's a boy, mainly due to Subaru's tendency to use more commonly masculine aligned language, such as referring to herself using "ore" rather than the common "watashi". Very outgoing and friendly - she helps the more reserved idols (such as Roco) with socialising and likes to see them have fun, ensuring they feel included in activities. Anytime Subaru gets nervous, she likes to head out and play some baseball, or even just move around a little as it usually clears her head and helps her relax. Subaru tends to fawn over others girls a lot, often admiring how cute and amazing girls can be despite also being a girl herself. One of the most common subjects of her admiration tends to be Yuriko; Subaru has been motivated by her performances and personality a number of times, leading to the two of them being seen together a lot despite their contrasting interests. However, Subaru can also talk rather negatively about herself when she notes how cute the girls around her are and claims that she would just "get in the way".

Yuka Saitou

Kana Yabuki

Pendukung

Female · Umur 14 · Gol. darah A

Hometown: Kanagawa Prefecture Height: 155 cm Kana has a bright, positive personality and can also be very clumsy. Kana loves music, especially singing. As long as she can sing, she is happy. Whenever she starts singing, any animals in the vicinity will start running and other people will cover their ears. Kana herself is aware of this problem and is always try her hardest to improve her skill day and night. While her singing skills are still under development, her talent in playing the clarinet is on par with a professional. She has even been scouted once. She's also very good at sports──she always played soccer with the boys in her elementary school years. She could kick the ball out of stadium, and in baseball, she could outrun the ball itself.

Ibuki Kido

Minako Satake

Pendukung

Female · Umur 18 · Gol. darah O

Hometown: Tokyo Height: 158 cm One of the theater’s big sister figures; Minako is dedicated to looking after others and possesses a high endurance level, aiming to be of help whenever she can. Minako initially auditioned to become an idol alongside two of her close friends and dreamed of debuting together with them. However, Minako ended up being the only one to pass the audition and felt a great wave of guilt come over her, leading to her taking time to herself in order to think the offer over. Eventually her friends realised something was bothering her and upon hearing the truth, they told Minako that they would always support her and encouraged her to reach her dreams regardless. Minako sometimes still feels guilty over this event, especially when asked about who she was most looking forward to seeing at her live. Before becoming an idol most of her time was dedicated to working at her family’s Chinese cuisine restaurant - known as “Satake Restaurant” - as both a waitress and sometimes even a chef. Minako loves to cook and is known for her ability to produce food in mass quantities. Minako also loves to play fighting games and is known to be very good at them, especially when playing as a grappler style fighter - even rivalling the likes of Anna. She also claimed that one day she’d love to have a live on a sumo wrestling stage.

Eri Oozeki

Nao Yokoyama

Pendukung

Female · Umur 17 · Gol. darah O

Hometown: Osaka Height: 159 cm A cheerful and energetic girl from Osaka who speaks in Kansai dialect, Nao is what is considered to be a stereotypical Osakan person; like always keeping some candy for herself; though she not good with tsukomi in a boke & tsukomi routine. Nao is not a very bright girl, preferring to take action instead of thinking things over, and also has great confidence in her own stamina. She is very forgetful, often forgetting that she has a lesson, and sometimes forgets even what she just said a few minutes ago. Nao is also a harapeko (a character who can eat a lot and eats often, like Takane, evident by the fact that she wears a shirt that has harapeko written on it and a few of her cards depict her eating something, and she also often complains that she's hungry.

Yui Watanabe

Yuriko Nanao

Pendukung

Female · Umur 15 · Gol. darah B

Hometown: Tokyo Height: 154 cm The bookworm of MILLION STARS, Yuriko is a girl who loves books very much. She loves reading any genre of book as long as it’s interesting to her, though her favorite genres seem to be fantasy and mystery. As such, Yuriko constantly daydreams and imagines about fantastical worlds and the magical aspects of the books she read in her daily life. Yuriko can be shy around strangers, but when among her friends, or any book-related topic (or just something that stimulates her quite wild imagination) comes up, her energetic and cheerful side will come out and she will often talk about books non-stop. She is known to be so passionate about books that she once wrote a review of a book that was over 100 pages long as homework and is feared at the library as the “Wild Express Train of the Library”, which she revealed was longer than the book itself.

Miku Itou

Shiho Kitazawa

Pendukung

Female · Umur 14 · Gol. darah A

Hometown: Tokyo Height: 161 cm The lone wolf of the MILLION STARS, Shiho is in many ways similar to Shizuka, from their cold and stoic looks, their harsh treatment towards the Producer, and even down to their family problems. Shiho wants to work alone or at least doesn’t want to rely on others if she can help it. However, eventually she begins to defrost and view the other members of 765 Pro as family after they treat her kindly. Shiho's personality is from a lack of a fatherly presence since early childhood. His absence forced Shiho to help her busy mother take care of her little brother, which made her used to doing things by herself. Shiho became an idol to get a job to support her family and dreams. She admired idols because they remind her of the princesses in these. Shiho also loves plushies so it's noted often that she's still a child that had to grow up a little too fast. Even though she acts distant, she does have a sweet side, although she mostly shows it to her little brother, who is named Riku (nicknamed Rikkun).

Sora Amamiya

Anna Mochizuki

Pendukung

Female · Umur 14

Height: 152 cm Hometown: Kanagawa Hobbies: Online games Anna is a 14 year old girl who always seems tired. In normal speech, she uses a lot of ellipses ("…") and acts very withdrawn and slightly mature, and her only interests seem to be games and singing. She is friends with Yuriko both online and in person, and games under the name "vividrabbit". Even when she's not near a computer, she's sure to be playing games on her cellphone. You'd expect her to be the kind of idol who complains about working and being pulled away from her lifestyle, but surprisingly, she's not. When she gets into her idol activities or changes into her idol outfit, she changes spectacularly. She 'switches' into a super-energetic, passionate idol who gives it every ounce of strength she has, often saying "bibi" to fire herself and others up. She's persistent and a hard worker, for example, during the outdoor music festival event, she practiced really hard to learn bass so she could be on the same level as the rocker Julia. Her only real weakness is that she's kind of a bad actress and can't really do anything other than the "energetic type". However, she actually forces her self to act like that. She's still just the same shy girl on the inside and she works hard on researching how to act energetic, so that she can become as close as possible to her ideal of a great idol.

Shiina Natsukawa

Serika Hakozaki

Pendukung

Female · Umur 13 · Gol. darah O

Hometown: Tokyo Height: 146 cm Serika is a kind and good-natured girl, she probably couldn't be mean even if she wanted to. She leads a sheltered life and doesn't know many ordinary things, like what a family restaurant is, that you can drink juice from a can (she wonders where the glass to pour it into was), how to cook, or why men like women with bigger chests. Her parents are very protective and her father worries about her participating in idol activities, but he's happy that she has so much fun singing and dancing. It's safe to say that she comes from a rich family, given her sheltered upbringing, hobbies, interests, and princess-like outlook. However, Serika is aware that she doesn't know much about the world and asks the Producer to teach her lots of things. Overall, she has a very friendly, positive demeanor.

Momo Asakura

Kaori Sakuramori

Pendukung

Female · Umur 23 · Gol. darah O

Hometown: Tokyo Height: 165 cm The daughter of an official in the JSDF, Kaori is an elegant and mature girl with music expertise. She seems to be a bit sheltered and tends to ask her family for their opinion before acting, but she is trying to be more independent. Because of her motherly personality, Kaori is adored by many of the younger girls in the office, who look up to her as a big sister.

Arisa Kouri

Konomi Baba

Pendukung

Female · Umur 24 · Gol. darah A

Hometown: Yamaguchi Height: 143 cm The oldest and third shortest among the MILLION STARS, Konomi is an easygoing idol who always tries to prove to the Producer and her fans that she is a sexy adult. Because of her short height and youthful looks, most people never take her seriously which frustrates Konomi to no end. Konomi originally applied to become an office lady at 765; her application was misplaced and she ended up being offered a position as an idol in the 39Project by the Producer. As such, she is also good at office work and offers to lend a hand when the production needs it. She admits later that despite applying to be office staff, she secretly wanted to see if she had hidden potential in herself. As she used to work in the office, Konomi is initially unsure of how to be an idol, since it is an entirely different world to what she is used to. On top of that, the pressure from always being relied on led her to believe that she had to perform better than anyone else, like when she was the leader of her unit with Yuriko and Momoko.

Minami Takahashi

Momoko Suou

Pendukung

Female · Umur 11 · Gol. darah B

Hometown: Tokyo Height: 140 cm The second youngest of the MILLION STARS, Momoko is a former child star turned into an idol who acts in a high and mighty way. Momoko, while one of the youngest idols, probably has more experience in the entertainment industry than any of her fellow idols and that has made her know about the less than beautiful part of the industry. It’s no surprise that Momoko always acts in such a bitter and arrogant way towards everyone as she believes that everyone is trying to use her for their own end. Thus, Momoko always tries to put distance between herself and her co-workers, saying that they only have a business-like relationship with each other. Despite her attitude, Momoko is still just a child and a kind one at that. She often shows concern over her fellow idols and acts in a way that would suit a child her age from time to time. Furthermore, Momoko also wants to have fun with other kids, but because she's busy with work as a child star, Momoko never has many opportunities to play with other kids her age and learn how to make friends.

Keiko Watanabe

Roco Handa

Pendukung

Female · Umur 15 · Gol. darah AB

Hometown: Tokyo Height: 154 cm Roco is a positive girl who believes that she was born to be an idol, and she dreams of becoming a great artist using her own art style. Like many artists, Roco has weird habits that are hard for others to understand. The most apparent one would be her way of speaking--Roco likes to fill her sentences with English words, sometimes to the point of being almost impossible to understand. She prefers to use them even if they're not that common in usual speech. She will quickly correct herself if she accidentally catches herself not using a loanword, even though her English skills are not that good and she still occasionally requires a dictionary. When she's really concentrated or surprised, she’ll speak in a normal way, suggesting that she's doing this on purpose. Although Roco always acts confident, deep down, she actually feels lonely, since her weird quirks and her hard-to-understand artistic sense often alienates her from the other idols. Roco is very happy when someone praises her art and she also shows her weak side to the Producer from time to time. Roco has been driven to tears before at the realization that she didn't actually have a best friend, and that for the longest time, her art was her only friend. Roco has claimed before that "To be an Artist is to be lonely".

Atsuki Nakamura

Arisa Matsuda

Pendukung

Female · Umur 16 · Gol. darah AB

Hometown: Tokyo Height: 154 cm The enthusiast idol, Arisa is an energetic girl who is obsessed with idols. Arisa loves idols very much, maybe too much. She has created a massive database that stores notes she's collected on every idol, which she proudly claims has information for every 2D and 3D Idol in the business. She is also often seen around town with a high def camera, taking photos of idols in the wild, like an idol paparazzi. She's actually become quite a skilled photographer. A true Idol Otaku, Arisa has merchandise all throughout her room, which she cleans often. Surprisingly, some of these figures are of idols from the theater, such as Miki and Makoto, as well as an Akane-chan doll. When Arisa uses her computer to update her database, she wears glasses. This is probably due to her eyesight weakening with how often she uses the computer. Sometimes, Arisa stays up late at night watching lives, which often results in her being late to her own work as an idol. Arisa auditioned to become an idol in order to get closer to the idols she admires. She is a very hard worker, and wishes to show off the fruits of her labor to everyone. She's even gone as far to teach herself the drums. However, Arisa does not see herself on the same level as the idols she admires, calling them way cuter than she could ever be. She is slowly starting to improve her view on herself, so she can reach the idols she admires.

Rie Murakawa

Umi Kousaka

Pendukung

Female · Umur 16

Height: 155 cm Hometown: Chiba Hobbies: Rock climbing The hyperactive girl of the MILLION STARS, Umi is a an athletic girl who excels at almost every sport, and most of her cards depict her doing various sports. She has a very energetic personality to the point that she cannot stand being inactive. Umi can’t calm down when she's not doing anything-- in fact, she once said that when she remembers that there are other idols out there who are working their hardest, her body is unable to rest. Umi is not only good with active sports like football or basketball; she is also good with gymnastics, and she took ballet lessons when she was younger. All of this made her body very flexible. While she is a sporty girl, she's definitely not a tomboy and she's happy to wear cute dresses. While Umi has great confidence in her legs, she lacks confidence in the upper half of her body and she's not good with makeup.

Reina Ueda

Kotoha Tanaka

Pendukung

Female · Umur 18 · Gol. darah A

Hometown: Tokyo Height: 157 cm Kotoha is a very diligent girl with a passion for acting, though she often gets lost in it when doing so. If one had to describe what Kotoha is like in three words, it would be “an honors student”; she's diligent, takes everything seriously, does all work to her absolute best, and she just seems to be perfect at everything. Yet, she actually has low self-confidence. She often says that she has no any real talents (except maybe acting), and she has a somewhat fragile mentality. This makes Kotoha easily pressured by her work and she accumulates a lot of emotional stress from time to time, to the point that she occasionally breaks into tears. Fortunately, in those times, her two best friends, Megumi and Elena are often there to comfort her. Kotoha, Megumi, and Elena later form a unit named Tri Star Vision.

Risa Taneda

Hinata Kinoshita

Pendukung

Female · Umur 14 · Gol. darah O

Hometown: Hokkaido Height: 146 cm From a family of farmers who left her hometown in Hokkaido for Tokyo after being scouted as an Idol, Hinata is a kind, honest, and quite mature girl with an innocent heart, who speaks in a heavy northern dialect. Always places her trust in others even if they're lying, and doesn’t mind if she's lost, as long as she can do her best and have fun with everyone. She tends to doubt herself and gets nervous before lives, but always does her best so that she can make her family proud. Hinata knows that she's considerably average but is determined not to run away and wants to work as hard as she can. She's fond of cute things, such as stuffed bears and cats, and likes to collect them. She gets worried she'll be judged for liking things that are "too young" for her, but is reassured that it's cute to be interested in them. She is very close with her family and misses them a lot while she's in Tokyo doing idol work. However, Hinata has grown to love all of the members of the theater and thinks of them as another big family.

Nao Tamura

Akane Nonohara

Pendukung

Female · Umur 16 · Gol. darah AB

Hometown: Saitama Height: 150 cm The annoyingly cute idol among the MILLIONSTARS, Akane is the one that claims to be the "cutest girl on the planet" and the theater’s “secret weapon” when she actually isn't. Akane often acts as the mood maker in a lot of situations and seems to never read the atmosphere, claiming to be full of surprises. Due to being overly loud and energetic; she is sometimes considered to be “the annoying one” in the theater. The way she acts is a feeble attempt at making others happy. She considers everyone in 765 Pro to be irreplaceable and speaks very fondly of them - however she made the producer promise to keep what she said a secret because she considers caring for them to be embarrassing. She often incorporates cats into her comic relief persona. Akane’s cat motif mainly reflects her free-spirit, but can also be seen as annoying as well. She even uses internet slang in her speech sometimes and has broken the fourth wall on a number of occasions, which can be confusing to those who do not understand internet culture. Not only that, but Akane is also prone to nicknaming nearly everyone she meets and considers herself to be good friends with the producer - who she nicknamed "Pro-chan” upon their first meeting. At one point she even gave the producer a set of "good work" stickers to use to praise her when he deems it necessary.

Saki Ogasawara

Tomoka Tenkubashi

Pendukung

Female · Umur 15 · Gol. darah AB

Hometown: Tokyo Height: 156 cm Tomoka is a young, kind girl who loves all people equally like a holy mother, but she also wishes to be treated with loyalty from her friends and loved ones. She would like nothing more than a world where everyone can get along happily with each other, but she also believes that the only way the world can become such a happy place is by her leading everyone as the "Holy Mother". She acts and speaks in a polite and refined way, but may unknowingly call others inconsiderate names without knowing she was being rude. She calls her fans "piglets" because “it’s cuter than calling them lost sheeps”, and she thinks of herself as some kind of Virgin Mary (despite being 15). She's always kind to her fellow idols and helps them whenever she can. She claims to be a "Holy Mother" who gives love and hope to the lost and the pitied. She believes she can give people love by being somebody they can look up to. In her eyes, as she gives them unconditional love, she'll be like the Virgin Mary.

Kotori Koiwai
