Hana Asakura

Utama

He is the six year old son of Yoh Asakura and Anna Kyoyama who is now traveling with Ryu, but is currently in the custody of Tamao Tamamura. He only appears in the special chapter, Funbari no Uta. He works with Ryu to search for someone. Hana is once shown holding the Futsunomitama (also known as the Antiquity in the English anime), which may mean he can use a Giant Over Soul like Yoh's. Tamao is introduced as his 'mother', but it is revealed that she is only acting as his guardian until Yoh and Anna return. At first Hana is apparently unaware that Tamao is not actually his mother; Tamao has chosen not to tell him who his true parents are until they return and she debuts as an enka singer. However in the final chapter of the KanZenBan manga, Hana is aware of who his parents are and welcomes them back by kicking Yoh in the stomach. The name "Hana" means flower. Hana's name comes from the conjunction of the characters in Yoh (葉, also pronounced as Ha) and Anna's (ナ, Na) names. One piece of evidence that points to Hana being their son is that, in volume 9 of the manga, Yoh and Anna slept together the night before leaving for America for the second round of the Shaman Fight. Also, Yohken asks him whether he has any children, where Yoh replies "No...well, how can I say that?", but is informed otherwise by Amidamaru. He is the main character in the new series Shaman King: Flowers, where he is a teen who uses his father Yoh's spirit Amidamaru. He meets the current Shaman King Hao who tells him something interesting will happen for him and disappears. Almost immediately a young girl resembling Anna appears saying she is her disciple and daughter of Silva and will marry Hana if he can beat her in a fight. Hana Asakura was probably conceived shortly before or shortly after the Shaman Fight. His true birthdate is unknown. All we know for sure is that he is the son of Yoh and Anna. Samurai that died during the Muromachi period 600 years ago - now is Yoh's ghost companion. He is very powerful and wise but quite taciturn and extremely devoted to "Lord Yoh" ("Yō-dono" in Japanese). He was greatly known around the town of Funbari, where he had died 600 years prior after killing several hundred other samurai soldiers during a battle. He is the original handler of the legendary sword named "Harusame", meaning "Spring Rain", a sword forged by his best friend, Mosuke, who also appeared in the anime/manga as a spirit. This very same sword was reproduced as a "spirit sword" and used by Asakura Yoh during the Shaman Fight. The original was kept in a museum. His name is based on the Buddha Amitabha, the principal figure in the Pure Land Buddhist sect. (Source: Wikipedia)

Men Tao

Pendukung

Tao Men is the son of Tao Ren and Iron Maiden Jeanne. He is second heir to the Tao Family after his father. As a baby, Tao Men greatly resembles his father, even sporting the same chestnut hair style. However, he has silver hair and blood red eyes, which are inherited from his mother. As a primary school student, Men wears the same school outfit as Ren, albeit with a ribbon-bow instead of a tie. He retains the chestnut hair style (complete with the ability to straighten out when agitated or shocked), but his hair is somewhat wavier - another trait from Jeanne. In his debut, Men shows no distict personality traits. However, he does manage to burp the word 'baka' to Horohoro, either by chance or by intent. As he gets older Tao Men is every bit as impulsive and brash as his father. His haughty attitude and manner of speaking is reminiscent of his mother. As the child of Ren and Jeanne, Men possesses exceptional talent as a Shaman. Thus far, he has been able to perform an Over Soul. Men has inherited his father and mother's spiritual allies, Bason and Shamash, respectively. For the Over Soul with Bason, he wields a lengendary Guan Dao wielded by Bason in his lifetime, Men has inherited it from his father. Tao Men is first seen near the ending of Shaman King as a baby, when Tao Ren brings him along to the reunion of the Five Elemental Warriors. As he and his father arrives at the train station in a chariot Men walks out first while Ren speaks from within the waggon, making it seem like Men is the one tallking. This combined with Men's resemblance to his father causes everybody to momentarily mistake him for his father. Ren then steps out behind Men and picks him up, introducing him as his son and saying his name was Men. As they all wait for Asakura Yoh and Asakura Anna they go to a family restaurant, where Men is seen eating a kids menu and becomes the subject of disccussion as no one knows who his mother is. As Horohoro is given hints by Lyserg about who the mother might be, Men somehow manages to look at Horohoro and call him dummy. In Shaman King: Flowers, he is 7 and is staying at Funbari Onsen with Blocken, Zhang-Ching and Big Billy as his bodyguards. He is visiting as part of his Tao Family-Style Royal studies, which he terms 'a test of experiencing the life of the lower classes'. The name 'Men‘ means industry, and is formed by taking the first Kana of Maiden and the last kana from Ren. This method of naming is the same as Asakura Hana.

Ryunosuke Umemiya, usually called "Wooden Sword" Ryu, is a character in the anime and manga Shaman King. In the English anime, his name is Rio. A direct translation of his nickname reads "Dragon of the Wooden Sword". He is a Capricorn. He usually wears exaggerated 1970s fashion: white suits and dark shirts with oversized collars, cuffs and lapels, plus pointy shoes. His battle outfit consists of a vest-styled shirt that exposes his stomach and pants that occasionally puff out above the ankles. His crowning glory is a foot-long pompadour, which keeps getting lopped off by Yoh Asakura and others. Ryu's nickname comes from the fact he carries a wooden sword, or bokutō. In the English anime, he has a Hispanic accent.

Tokagero

Pendukung

Type: Seirei Class Reiyoku Level: 5,000 Shaman: Umemiya Ryunosuke Tokagero is a 600 year old spirit from the same time as Amidamaru. He was a thief who was eventually killed by Amidamaru and because he wanted revenge he was not able to pass on. Because of his hatred he eventually turned his skin lizard green. During his life time he became infamous and even gained his own fighting style called Tokage Kenpo (Lizard Style). He always calls himself a nasty villain but is in reality a big softie who only misses the comfort of a mother's care. When he was alive, Tokagero was a thief that was born into poverty. Tokagero was forced to eat his own dead mother to survive. He then became a thief ambushing people. An ancient bandit, he stole everything--money, food, lives and even more so. He led a horde of bandits who terrorized the area 600 years ago. There was a hill Tokagero and his group used as a hideout, but one day Amidamaru passed by and was ambushed by them. However, being the stronger one, Amidamaru killed Tokagero and his group. In the modern age Tokagero attacks Asakura Yoh and his friends in order to get revenge on Amidamaru, who does not recall him at all. Through Kyoyama Anna research, they learn that he is an obscure historical figure who was killed by Amidamaru. Tokagero possesses Yoh's friend Umemiya Ryunosuke "Wooden Sword" Ryu and uses him to steal the Harusame (Sword of Light) from the museum and attack Yoh and Amidamaru. The fight that ensues forces Yoh and Amidamaru to break the Harusame in order to save Ryu's life. Yoh appeals to Tokagero and allows him to possess him instead of Ryu, who is just an innocent bystander, because Yoh believes that Tokagero is not as evil as he claims. Togakero does so, with the supposed intention of killing Yoh in the process, but finds he does not have the heart to and leaves Yoh's body peacefully.

Tamao Tamamura

Pendukung

Female · Umur 11 · Gol. darah A

Tamao is a shy girl who has a huge crush on Yoh Asakura, even though she knows that Yoh is engaged to Anna Kyōyama. Initially, she is so shy that she uses her sketchbook and points to pictures in order to tell people what she wants to say. Orphaned at a young age, she was brought to the Asakura family by Yoh's father, Mikihisa Asakura. Tamao's specialty is her use of a kokkuri board, which is similar to a Ouija board, in order to perform divinations. She is also an ascetic, like Mikihisa; her spirits are Conchi, a kitsune, and Ponchi, a tanuki, in the same way Mikihisa has a kitsune and a tanuki.

Height: 160 cm Birth Place: Izumo, Japan Hobby: Listening to music and sleeping Favorite Food: Udon Curry Quotes: "Don't worry, it'll work out somehow." Yoh was born into the famous Shaman family, Asakura. He has a twin brother named Hao who is a powerful reincarnation of the original HAO who keeps getting reborn. For this reason, Yoh is said to be the only one who can defeat his brother, and he himself is, as stated in the manga, a half of the original HAO, thus has many of the qualities of the reincarnation before him. Yoh also has a fiance, named Anna, who he saved from her destructive power of Reishi (mind-reading put simply) which is helped by Hao's old cat friend, Matamune. Matamune, however, dies drastically after saving Anna's life, giving the last bit of his energy to do this. When Yoh was 13, he joined the Shaman Fight, with the reason to make his life a more comfortable place, for both him and Anna. Yoh himself is a pretty laid-back type of guy. He gets along with everyone around him, and making friends comes easy to him. Although he may not seem serious most of the time, he actually can get really serious when needed to be. Ironically, his twin brother, Hao is a bit like this as well, and many of Yoh's characteristics overlap with his as well. Yoh however, seems to be a bit more sensible than Hao since he looks at things always in a positive light and has something good to say about everything.

Bason

Pendukung

Bason is the ghost of an ancient Chinese wujiang who serves Ren faithfully and obeys him without question. In the English manga Bason calls Ren "Master Ren," while in the Japanese version he calls Ren "Bocchama," which means "Young Master." Later he became a valued friend of his young master Ren. His date of birth and blood type are unknown. Bason has served the Tao family for several generations and has sworn to serve Ren by any means possible. He carries a kwan dao (a weapon similar to a halberd, but with one curved edge and one straight edge following the line of the handle). In his days as an ancient Chinese warrior, Bason rode into battle on a horse named Hei-Tao; the spirit of Hei-Tao can be integrated into another horse kept by Ren, named Bái-Feng, to perform the Perfect Re-enactment of the Vorpal Dance. Bason is capable of adding tremendous strength and speed to Ren's kwan dao, and even making it quite larger, but also uses his body in attacks such as the Golden Punch. In Giant Spirit Form, Bason appears as a gigantic robot capable of launching fireballs. Like Ren, Bason appears very cold and cruel at the beginning of the series, however, following interaction with Yoh Asakura, Bason, like his master, begins to soften up and develop a much more pleasant disposition. He feels an overwhelming sense of duty to his master, even breaking down in tears when Ren is imprisoned by his father. While Bason and Amidamaru are very hostile and competitive at first, they soon become friendly rivals. (Source: Wikipedia)

Kalim

Pendukung

Male

One of Silva's friends and organizers of the Shaman Fight, Kalim tested and deemed Horohoro to be qualified to take part in the Shaman Fight. His spirit partner is a bull named BlackSickle, with his medium being a bull skull and leg bones allowing BlackSickle to merge with the lower half of his body. His plant is the plateau. He shares an apartment with Silva during the tournament in Tokyo, where the two constantly bicker over the heat (because they cannot afford an air conditioner and the summer is so warm and humid). Like Silva, Kalim sells handcrafted Patch goods to make somewhat of a living while in Tokyo. Kalim frequently provides a voice of reason to somewhat quell Silva's desire to interfere in the Shaman Tournament. Kalim is apparently hemaphobic. Following the trend of Patch priests being named after metals, Kalim's name derives from Kari (加里 or カリ), or Kariumu (カリウム) meaning potassium in Japanese (derived from the German language Kalium).
