Height: 158 cm She is a cheerful and kind girl who isn't exactly the brightest but can hold her own nonetheless. The stubborn, yet determined younger sibling of Mio, once Hiori has her mind set on something, she'll give it her all to accomplish it. Hiori can also have trouble expressing how she really feels and has bottled up her feelings more than once. She cherishes her older sister Mio, who she has known since childhood, and who is very close to her. Hiori deeply cares about all who are her friend, including Mio as aforementioned, as well as her friends, from Ruka to Miyako. She is willing to do whatever she can to help those around her, although she can forget to care for herself too. Hiori also takes things at face value as well and has more often than not fallen victim to jokes and teases that she could not discern.

Height: 158 cm She's the Deuteragonist of Blue Reflection Ray. Ruka used to be a quiet and distant girl who preferred to stay by herself most of the time, as she was too shy or afraid to try to interact with others or express her feelings without bothering them. She transferred school after feeling guilty for being unable to help a former classmate who took her own life away, moving to Tsukinomiya High School, where she met Hiori Hirahara, her new roommate and actual close friend. She decided to open up to others more and help as best as she can, being Hiori the drive she needed to start anew. Ruka greatly cares about all her friends, like Hiori who felt the most closest. She still has little trouble expressing herself correctly, learning to open up better the more she expend time with all of them. As Hiori pointed often, Ruka is very perceptive of those around her, being able to notice when others are having troubles while they excluding themselves from everyone else.

To achieve that, she provokes people by acting extremely persistent to the point of obnoxiousness, making them direct violence and harsh words at her.
