Minato Narumiya

Utama

Male · Umur 15

Height: 173 cm (5’8) Minato Narumiya is the protagonist of the series. He is a first-year at Kazemai High School where he is a member of the kyudo club. Minato is a reserved and withdrawn person, which resulted from after his accident in sixth grade and his target panic incident at his last middle school tournament. He is serious and responsible, always doing his chores and cleaning the school kyudojo proactively. His seriousness often causes him to get flustered by more cheerful individuals like Nanao and Ryouhei. Despite seeming calm and indifferent, Minato has a deep passion for kyudo and is extremely loyal to his friends. He is earnest about the things he wants to do, such as improving at kyudo. Ryouhei has noted that he seemed like a "wild child" as he doesn't mind running on snow-covered roads or doesn’t get a cold when he was wading through a cold river. He has a sarcastic side to him when it comes to dealing with more eccentric people, such as Masaki. He is also prone to having an overactive imagination and believing scary stories. Minato has a love for fluffy animals, especially Kuma (Seiya's dog) and Who (Masaki's owl).

Seiya Takehaya

Male · Umur 16

Height: 175 cm (5’9) Seiya Takehaya is a first-year student at Kazemai High School and a member of the kyudo club, as well as serving as the club head and captain of the boys' division. Seiya is viewed as a mature, reliable, and kind character, determined to facilitate and oversee Minato's success in kyudo. However, as he himself stated in episode two, when he gets serious, he has no need for compassion. Seiya and Minato have been friends since childhood due to being neighbors. Along with Ryouhei, the three of them were kindergarten and elementary school friends and have had many ventures together.

Nanao Kisaragi

Utama

Male · Umur 15

Height: 170 cm (5’7) Nanao Kisaragi is a first-year at Kazemai High School and a member of the kyudo club. Ever since he was little, Nanao has attracted many female admirers due to his looks and charisma. However, the side effect of this was that he also received many jealous attacks, so his mother and aunts decided to have Kaito, his cousin, act as his bodyguard. This worked well in elementary school, and though they went to separate middle schools, they were still in extracurriculars and cram school together. Some time in the past, Nanao used to go to the prefectural budokan to practice kyudo by himself, and one time met with a judge's teacher, from whom he learned many things about kyudo. Gets along with Ryouhei due to their similar personalities. The two like to joke and laugh around together.

Kaito Onogi

Utama

Male · Umur 15

Height: 178 cm (5’10") Kaito Onogi is a first-year student at Kazemai High School and a member of the kyudo club. Kaito comes off as short-tempered, overly serious, and aggressive. He is easily riled up, especially when his cousin Nanao calls him Kacchan or when he perceives someone to not be taking something as seriously as he does. He is blunt with his words and not afraid to say what he really thinks. He tends to jump to conclusions. This causes people to be afraid of him. A large part of his current personality might be due to being treated as someone scary ever since he was little due to his intimidating face. However, he is also fiercely loyal to those he becomes close to. He is a good observer, such as noticing Seiya's issues with kyudo. He often serves as the straight man to the antics of others. His fellow members tease him for being a tsundere, much to his annoyance. He is good with cats, and has a white cat named Lucy.

He steadfastly refuses to believe Seiya can do anything bad. He gets along with Nanao very well due to their similarly cheerful and chatty personalities. Ryouta Suzuki

Masaki Takigawa

Pendukung

Male · Umur 23

Height: 184 cm (6’1) Masaki Takigawa is a senior shrine priest at Yata Shrine and later becomes the coach for the Kazemai High School Kyudo Club. He holds a fifth dan rank in kyudo. Masaki gives off the image of a mysterious, refined young man, but he is actually more laid-back and down-to-earth than he seems. He has the air of an old man despite his young age. He is noted to act roughly and sloppily in many things except in kyudo. He seems to dislike formality, asking everyone to call him "Masa-san" instead. He is friendly and good at explaining things, qualities that make him a good coach in the eyes of the members of the Kazemai kyudo club. He is also good at listening and giving advice, something he does with Minato frequently. He is not above speaking more vulgarly, such as when coaching Minato to overcome his hayake at the Yata no Mori Kyudojo. Despite his easy-going nature, Masaki also has a more serious and stubborn side to him when it comes to kyudo and his grandfather.
