However, his actual speech is quite sharp-tongued, and his true nature is that of a massive pervert. Parts of what he says get censored out by "bleep" sounds. He hit it off with Kaoru over their shared love of sweets; perhaps because they are both eccentrics, they seem to be on the same wavelength. He is also an online gaming buddy of Chiguma and Rei. Incidentally, his gaming history is so extensive that he is described as a total "hardcore addict."

He is hugely popular with the female students, yet he is so consistently unable to get a girlfriend that his fellow club members joke he is "cursed." Male · Gol. darah O

Height: 174cm He cuts a cool, attractive figure, yet occasionally says odd things that make the atmosphere go cold. However, when he is with the Japanese archery club, he conducts himself as the ideal "traditional Japanese-style" young man. Contrary to his appearance, he is quite the sweets lover; he always keeps snacks in his pockets and the Japanese Culture Research Club room, and he has a particular weakness for Western-style confections. Although the club president, Ushio Azabu, chides him for bringing Western sweets to a club dedicated to Japanese culture, he shows absolutely no sign of mending his ways; then again, their banter is a daily occurrence within the club, so neither of them seems particularly bothered by it. For some reason, he is uncomfortable around small animals and will silently walk away if one gets too close. Large animals, however, do not seem to faze him.

He is broad-minded enough to say "Sounds good" even to the reckless antics of Takato and the others—though since he says it to absolutely everything, people suspect it might just be a verbal tic. He’s the sort of troublesome teacher who refuses to let go of the microphone at karaoke. His educational philosophy is to never reprimand students for their actions, operating instead on the principle that they must clean up their own messes. There is a part of him that seems to want to remain a mere bystander at all times.
